I do have to say that was the weakest penalty shot call ever !

I would rather have the PP with 6 mins left at least if you dont score its 2 mins off the clock

there were some tickey tack penalties in the game. seemed like the refs got whistle happy in the 2nd and early part of the 3rd. must been a quota.

but for the penalty shot vs 2 minute.....if you make that shot, game over.

well atleast my prediction of Richards getting a goal and assist was right and that the flyers would win was right. one more game boys, you can do it.

clearly the Jaegler is a fraud.

hockey playoffs are awesome. regular season is very bland though. playoffs are just so intense and great hockey. got to win game 7 now - getting this far and losing would suck. the Bruins pretty much have one good line on offense and one really good defense pairing - other than that they are very ordinary.

Went to the game last night. Holy shit - one of the most intense fan experiences I've ever seen! What an incredible atmosphere! Especially nice after last year's Game 6 dud against the Penguins.

We've gotta win Game 7 - then we can hear about the "Twenty-Ten Flyers comeback" for the next 100 years! They're still talking about the 1942 Maple Leafs.

Don't forget about the Zdeno Chara drinking game - have a drink on hand, and whenever you hear anything about his size - 6'9", long wingspan, big, whatever - chug. Won't work as well with Flyers announcers though. If Mike Emerick's calling the game, you'll be in the hospital with alcohol poisoning.

    are you a fraud?

    excellent question.

i can see how you may think i am a fraud hockey fan. but i think the fact that i openly admit to not being a hockey fan in general exempts me from fraudulentness. i've tried countless times to get into this sport. each time i fail. i think it is because my dad and family are not into it. never had hockey on tv growing or anything.

i'm a casual hockey fan who gets caught up in the drive to cup come spring time. this run they are on is truly special though. really looking forward to tomorrow night. GO FLYERS.

as a 9 year eagles season ticket holder even i will admit that football is a little better on tv. the tailgates are second to none in the sports world though. hockey is great live--but poop on tv.
