I take it regularly. Easy and quick journey, dead easy to get to the station in Brussels too. Do book as soon as you can for the very cheap fares.

Brilliant, thanks for the info, much appreciated!

I'll be on it tomorrow afternoon!

I know exactly what you mean D. Weird I go to PJ shows and I meet some of the coolest ppl..then come on this forum and see 75% threads with ppl b!tching at each other.

Nice to see you guys are in good spirits...could be that you guys get more vacation. 2-3 weeks is average in the US and Canada. I think the UK ppl get like 6 weeks vacation right? If so that just isn't fair

    I think 4 is about average. I get 5.

Although when i start Uni i will get a lot more :D

I get 33 days, so just over 6 weeks holiday plus public holidays and I can earn up to 2 days flexi days off a month.

Dim, it won't be the same train (different destinations) but the Eurostar terminal is the same for all Eurostar destinations. This is Gare du Midi / Zuidstation. I think that all the high speed trains to France like TGV and Thalys depart from there. You may get some trains to France from Gare Central but they will not be fast ones. Not sure what you mean about the airport station, but you can get trains from Midi, Central or Nord that go to Zaventem airport. Haven't done that in a while but they used to be every 20 minutes.
thanks alot Rita..im going to CRL/South Airport on brussels after wertcher for get my flight to Venice

If you are going to Charleroi, there are regular trains from all three stations as well. Once you get to Charleroi station, you need to take a bus which will take you to the airport terminal ( that's all it does, only a few minutes). The train ticket you get includes this bus 'transfer' .

How hot are they on the size of the luggage? It says on the web that max size to be taken on is 85cm, but the bag I've been offered is 91cm. Being honest I don't know if I need a 131 litre bag for 16 days, as I only can carry 20kg...

You can tell when someone isn't from here because they'll say 'Toronto', and really pronounce the 2nd "t". But yes people from here always say Terrono..just comes natural I guess.

The farther east you go, the more garbled it gets.
    West Coast says Toronto.
    Central says Teronto.
    Toronto area says Terronno.
    Eastern Canada says Teranna.

Quebec refuses to say it at all.

    Down south is oki dokes...
In the studio huh, doing what? Well you coulda been in my office, running around trying to work out what we needed ministerial approval for before parliament dissolves for the election
Tomorrow I am in a team development day...oh the joy! and there are some members of my team, I have umm...well...little time for, so that will be fun. The saving grace is the venue we were meant to be using cancelled on us, so we had to get somewhere else at short notice, now it is in the function room of the pub near by :D
