    That was cool.

    The maple leaf was awesome.

    Canadians must be so excited.

In 2000, when the Olympics were just a 20 minute drive from my house, there was excitement in the air. Going to the games, where it was just a sea of people, that one can only experience at the Olympics were epic and the patriotism that was ignited my the Olympic flame was truly awesome. It is something that I will only experience the once, but would love to again.

I would think most are, however my best friend is Canadian (Cinnamon Girl here on the board) and she couldn't care less about it. I'm just an Olympic dork... always loved the games. Must be cause my parents went to the Lake Placid 1980 winter games when I was a little fetus :P

Your beating me to it, first KD Lang now this.
Aussies and Canadians have things in common.
We say zed, our population is similar in size, we are both commonwealth nations, what else?

Many canadians and BC'ers love it, and many hate all the lies and taxpayer money used to bail out budget overruns and financing mishaps while the government went on a rampage cutting critical services and funding.
