Anyone else excited to watch the Olympics???

I enjoy watching a lot of events–speed skating, bobsleds, snowboarding (Go Shaun White!), downhill skiing, figure skating to name a few. Sure is a hell of a lot better than the “reality” shows on TV !!

    i have little faith but i am hoping we'll actually get to see a bunch of events (live as much as possible) instead of watching human interest stories and a boat load of commercials ... or the ever dreaded tape delay to satisfy sponsors ... bugs the shit out of me ...

    I'm a sucker for international sport - can't wait to see how many medals my beloved Kiwis don't win, yet again :(

    I absolutely loooooove the Olympics....I love sports in general, but it's so cool to see ones that I can't see often, or ones that I don't know much about. I love the international competition...and I love that i tear up EVERY time i watch a medal ceremony :-)

    I'll watch the hockey. I like a lot of the skiing events, especially the ski jumping. The first Olympics I remember are the 1988 games in Calgary when Brian Leetch was on team USA.

    I'm so pumped for tomorrow night... I just love the Olympics!

    I had planned on heading to Vancouver to be there but my life threw me a curve ball... next time I hope.

    now I'm just gonna sit and watch it with a smile on my face :D

    its on NBC I think nightly and also daytimes starting at 2 maybe
    I like the Winter Olympics better too- the scenery is so beautiful- What a gorgeous place Vancouver
