All the other Georgian athletes have tears in their eyes. So sad. They decided to march out for their countries with heavy hearts.

Feel for them, was sad to watch, good that the crowd stood in support. :(

    That was cool.

    The maple leaf was awesome.

    Canadians must be so excited.

In 2000, when the Olympics were just a 20 minute drive from my house, there was excitement in the air. Going to the games, where it was just a sea of people, that one can only experience at the Olympics were epic and the patriotism that was ignited my the Olympic flame was truly awesome. It is something that I will only experience the once, but would love to again.

I would think most are, however my best friend is Canadian (Cinnamon Girl here on the board) and she couldn't care less about it. I'm just an Olympic dork... always loved the games. Must be cause my parents went to the Lake Placid 1980 winter games when I was a little fetus :P
