NO I'M NOT, here's a article from CNN that I find interesting....and like

(CNN) - As President Barack Obama nears one year in office, Dick Cheney is predicting the Republican Party is in for a big 2010.

"I think we'll pick up a lot of seats," the former vice president told Fox New's Sean Hannity Tuesday. "Prospects for the Republicans in 2010 are very good."

Next November, all 435 seats in the House and more than a third in the Senate are up for grabs. Democrats will be defending their 258-177 margin in the House and 20-seat advantage in the Senate.

Cheney, who is among his party's most fervent critics of the president, said Obama is in a more vulnerable position than anyone predicted one year ago.

"Right after Obama was elected, there was the view that he was invincible," Cheney said. "He raised more money than anybody else. He had a machine that smashed the Clinton campaign and then won the election, and that he'd be around for eight years and now I think that has changed fairly dramatically."

The vice president also said Obama has implemented "radical" far left policies even though he campaigned as a conventional Democrat.

"He got elected as a liberal Democrat, but conventional in the sense of falling within the parameters of the national Democratic Party," Cheney said. "He's demonstrated pretty conclusively now during his first year in office that he's more radical than that, that he's farther outside the parameters…of what we've traditionally had in Democratic presidents in years past."

But Cheney held back from predicting who in his party is best positioned to take on the president come 2012.

"At this point I'd be reluctant to pinpoint anybody," he said. "It might hurt them more than it would help them coming from me."

Dick Cheney telling Hannity that the republican party will pick up a lot of seats... shocker there...

While the republicans will gain some seats back (it's inevitable), I'd be careful with predicting a windfall... especially with the tea party vs. moderate republican civil war that seems to be building. Democrats in these districts can just sit back and watch the republicans wasting money bash each other and raise the anger at each other.

ummm....actually, technically he IS whining. you said you wanted to hear from people who only had good things to say about Obama and what they feel he is doing for them, so to post a negative article is somewhat contradictory to that aim, no?

I was just thinking, is this the same kind of thing that starts war's between country's..a simple difference
of opinion ? there is a lot to be said for human aggression and self rightusness (I hope spell check fixes that)
you see my friend's we have all (on this thread) proved that beyond reasonable

how dumb are most of you people... if you thought as much as 5 seconds about it, you could have figured out that I was at least giving Godfather credit for throwing something in that at least was more on track with my original question, instead of WHINING that my question was unfairly worded, poorly written, too many rules... it was obviously too much to ask of people to comment to my original post, so hell, I'm willing to take anything now. actually, nevermind. I've got things to do in the real world instead of stay around here with you people who do nothing but sit on this forum all day. get lives.

ill take the bait. what godfather posted was NOT in line with your original question. i was going to sincerely reply to your original post but once i saw you give godfather props for posting an article bashing obama i decided this thread was not worthy of my time because you were clearly not interested in honest discussion.

you complain that nobody is replying to your thread, then you insult the ones that do, then you complain that people begin to mock your thread, then you tell US to get lives. sounds like someone is a little too sensitive today...

Wow dude, sounds like you need to get laid. You start off by calling people whiners, then call people dumb, then say people here have no lives.
I started off by trying to offer some positivity in this thread, but your attitude is just pathetic. you really come off like you're 12 years old.
these are great topics but you put a few conditions on your original post, so you didnt get the answers you expected, oh well... instead of bashing, why not pose your question it in a little more general approach and enguage people in a conversation where you're not up on a damn pedestal?

he's really good at:

talking a good game, but doing nothing he says

spending money to help banks and other real rich people, unfortunately the money is yours and mine in the USA

creating jobs, although they seem to be overseas (see cash for clunkers) and not in the USA

promoting peace and harmony, while fighting two wars

allowing psychos like Barney Frank to write policies that take more of our private rights away and give the government more control over us in the USA

HE IS AWESOME at showing how pathetic the Republican Party is since they do shit to get the word out in a timely fashion about his ridiculous policy

He is really fair to terrorists making them have a criminal trials in NYC, with the right to totally expose our CIA and counter terrorist techniques in a trial

He is good at taking hundreds of terrorists in detention in Cuba, away from our citizens, and putting them in a new prison in his home state

he is really respectful to other leaders and always makes sure he bows and bends over for them in submission

oh yeah he has been great at eliminating hidden pork in bills, now it is just blatantly added

I used the extra money back on my paycheck (like $35 a month) to upgrade my phone! So Obama has been good to me..

My buddy also took advantage on the tax money back home thing to purchase a new home..

No complaints here.

People seem to forget, Obama is not a dictator. Changing things is not that easy. He has to compromise with every side. He can't just cator to one side, and even if he does, he does not have all power to enforce it.

I don't know soulsingsing, it almost seems like you are the one looking for the arguement here. Maybe he was just curious and wanted to hear what people had to say.
