stop being impulsive people! They will be out soon enough. Atleast we don't have to deal with that place that distorted the 2008 boots so much so that the band basically kicked Boom out of the band for all practical purposes. These should sound more like 2003, or atleast 2006, which in that case, it's worth the wait.

I hope that they don't combine songs onto one track like they did on the 2005/2006 boot series

didn't they only do that on 1 2006 show though? I'm Open into I Got ID, when I'm Open really just flowed right into it anyway
nah it was more extreme then that such as 29 Aug 05 they combined Save You and DTE, just one example :( so dumb

We'll know by the time they start the Backspacer tour in Seattle whether there is boots for the August shows or not.
I know the answer already, its fairly obvious they won't be released but I guess we can always hope (just like hoping the European 2007 tour would have got released but hey-ho they let us down there too)

Doesn't anybody remember the 2000 boots??? The European shows weren't released until after the first N. America leg. The first N. American leg wasn't released until after the tour ended, and the second N. American leg was released 4 months after the tour in March 2001. Just be patient people. Everyone wants quality boots and they take time. Besides, the band never said for sure which boots were being released. Maybe they will only release the Seattle shows and beyond...
And does anybody remember the 2006 Boots which you could get online in a few days, wait a second i wil repeat myself, IN A FEW DAYS, sorry not clear enough, IN A FEW DAYS!!! after the concert was played.
I remember it very clearly because i was seeing the other boots pop up and then i went to the Arnhem '06 show en a few days, will not repeat it again, it was online for download.. included also CD-ARTWORK
That was the best reLIVE show i've had ever...
Not to be an asshole about these concerts but it is nonsense if you think they need time to release.
After reading posts like these, I hope they don't release them til next year.
Apologies if this has already been posted but I was just thinking.....Townsend Records pre-sale are offering 3 free songs from the 02 gig with the purchase of Backspacer which kinda got me thinking...would the band release the boot of the show before the release of backspacer with this in mind. Yes I know not everyone who buys the album will buy the boot but...ah I dont know just thinkin out loud
Shows will be mixed and mastered and available within weeks of the show date.
Notice that they say within weeks, i.e.-less than a month. This should mean, I hope, that if any of the shows from 8/8-8/28 are going to be released we should start seeing some relatively soon. It's already been more than two weeks since Toronto, Shepherd's Bush and Rotterdam. As some one pointed out earlier, it makes no sense for them to have announced the Bootleg program when they did if they had no intention of releasing any of these August shows.
I'm sure that they will. Rotterdam was recorded, there was a lot of equipment at the left of the stage.
...which would be onstage monitor equipment. The boots are recorded with a mobile truck behind the venue.
Ot maybe it was Creeds spying equipment...
Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

Well, the 2006 boots were only digital downloads. The 2009 boots plan to be released in a CD format as well. It takes a little longer to manufacture and package a CD than it does to put a digital download up on the internet. It would kind of defeat the purpose to release a digital download first and then a CD a month later. No one would want the CD if the DD was out first, cause the CD's cost more. It's called marketing.
I'm clueless -- is there an official posted camera and recording policy for the 09 tour? Will we be able to make/trade audience boots?
I have 6 of the 10 shows already in FLAC.

They're not going to make the bootlegs available until after the album comes out. Even though it's just a few tracks, they don't want live versions available before the real thing.
"Gone" is the only example where this has ever happened and that was only because it had just been written and the odds of it being on an album were slim.

I agree, the only thing I think may happen is the preorders for Boots may be listed soon with a download or shipping after 9/20
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
Maybe a very dumb question, but the 2009 shows aren't out yet? I'm waiting for my greedy fingers on Rotterdam and Berlin... I'm actually drooling here...
