Agreed. Matt's bass drum will kick a hole through your heart. :D

I think the Chicago boots sound AMAZING to my ear..

Turn Mikey up just a little bit more and you have a new Standard bearer to rival Metallica's boots..

    Don't it make you smile?

    :D

Agree with most of that, but I had problems with the 2003 boots. Could hardly hear Cameron at all, and the fast songs got really affected by this. I think the 2006 boots were the best, and I loved Euro 2000. I know the Euro boots had their faults (lack of bass) but there was a certain warmth to them

I found them to be pretty sloppy in 2003 as well which didn't help when listening back

The problem with the Euro 2000 boots is that they weren't "mastered" and the volume levels are very low. Despite a seeming lack of bass, when you jack up the volume, the bass comes through better and they sound pretty close to the rest of the tour. Those 2000 boots are the best IMO in terms of mixing.

I agree that these new boots are a gift for fans of Matt & Jeff. The kick drum actually cuts through instead of swimming in mush like on the 2003 boots.

Mike is actually very audible sometimes on these new boots which is another change!

However, I wish Stones guitar was louder or beefier. That kind of stops me from enjoying these as much as the 2000 boots.

just listen to Stone and Mike in Toronto. Specially in "1/2 Full". That's the best version of that song i´ve ever heard.
If nothing is everything, I will have it all

My ranking of the 3 I did.

    Best - O2
    2nd - Berlin
    3rd - Shepherds Bush

If you had asked me before the gigs I would have predicted the absolute reverse order.

That's mega quick, I think even faster than some of the 2006 ones came out. With all this speedy release of the current shows I hope they're finding time to sort out the Euro shows, I have a credit card burning a hole in my pocket!
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits

I just purchased and downloaded the Seattle 1 flac files, but I can't get the zip file to extract. I have used 2 difference programs and I keep getting errors saying unknown format or damaged. Has anyone had this problems with any of the downloads. Please help?

Sorry, finally figured it out. I had to repair the zip file before I could do anything else. Has anyone else had to do this?

Why are the European boots taking so long?

Me too, and the bigger problem is that repairing didn't recover all of the files. The last 4 files are lost.
But the 10c is already looking into it, so hopefully "The Fixer" comes 'round :)

But, I just noticed I am missing all the songs after DTE. I just sent 10c an email about. Has anyone that has downloaded Seattle 1 experienced this?

I used a program called winrar.
There's a dedicated repair button in the menu bar.
Just navigate to the downloaded archive in the program and hit the button.

But as already mentioned, it doesn't bring all files back, the last 4 songs will still be missing.

REALLY NOT HAPPY that we are still waiting for the two UK only performances on Bootleg. Absolute Radio are playing the London 02 Arena one in full tonight but why oh why are we still waiting to relive such an amazing night's performance.

    Disgruntled and wanting an amend

Has anyone heard back from the 10c about the missing songs from the Seattle 1 boot? I bought this to make a CD for my drive down to Austin for ACL today - I am going to be mad if I don't have the entire concert for my drive!

I will be recording it, just in case 10C decides to not release... :) First time attempt at this, but tests have proven successful, so I hope it all works out fine. Looking forward to enjoying the O2 show in good sound quality. They broadcast it in 160kbs, not too shabby. Definitely worth keeping if nothing else shows up.

Just got the following email from the 10c:

    Hi,
The 9/21 Seattle FLAC file appears to be corrupt.
Once we upload a new version of the 9/21 Seattle FLAC, we will shoot you an email. Sorry for the hassle.
    10c

I hope they get it fixed soon - I want to listen to this on my way to ACL.
