    Shocker- Wings screwed again. Just a joke how a refs mistake could have cost them a game. Clearly a goal but it's "unreviewable".

    Here's an idea NHL - review it and if it was a mistake fix it! You have no problem overruling other calls, why not this, it 's ONLY the playoffs!

    So, the Caps score late in the 3rd ... tied, now going to OT.

    And VS will NOT go to the last 10 minutes of hte Bruins v Hurricaines game becuase the Caps Pens game "is not concluded"

    So, they are back in the studio jibber jabbering ...

    Un-fucking-real.

    EDIT ... Bruins just scored to tie it 2-2 ... but we had to hear about shit we just saw. Way to miss that goal ... by the way, VS still hasn't showed the highlights of the 2 Canes goals yet!

    EDIT #2 ... the went to Carolina ... and showed ... 11 seconds! 11 FREAKIN SECONDS!

    They aren't showing the highlights of the goals, I'm hearing Engbloom describe the goals.

    Did you catch the clip of the Salo interview on TSN tonight? The interviewers were trying to get Salo to reveal what part of the lower body was injured. To paraphrase, the interview went something like this:

    As much as I want to scream about Pitt-Caps game and 6 straight penalties on Caps (jeez ya think someone wants Pitt to win?) Pitt was the better team last night.

    Yeah, but that's how this league is... Pens get a lot of calls in a row, then they score, so all of a sudden the caps get a powerplay in the last couple of minutes to give them a chance to tie. You can almost write the script.

    The pens complained a lot about missed interference calls after game #2, and they got the benefit of he doubt in game #3. After game #3 the caps are complaining about calls, so the will probably get the benefit in game #4... kinda sad really.

    You are correct! Bettman feels that no matter how shitty a team is they have the right to be given a chance, via power play, to be in the game. I'm not saying Penguins suck, it's just his mantra that give everyone a chance. Which is Bullshit! If you're the better team you're the better team, why be possibly punished for it?

    Call it both ways or not at all.....Power plays for a whole game is not exciting to me. Quit pandering to a few people who want to see 8-7 games with 15 penalty calls and give me 3-2 games with 2 goalies and 10 skaters anytime!

    I don't mind a lot of calls if it's consistent... After the lockout, there were tons of calls with the new interference/obstruction that made the games hard to watch... But the refs were consistent and over time the players adjusted how they played. We ended up with better hockey and the number of penalties went down to "normal"... but now, one game they let little stuff go, and the next game they call everything... the players/coaches can't really adjust because they don't know what to adjust to.

    And the penalties late, a lot of times they are legit... a team is really pressing, and seem to draw penalties when they are working their asses off to try to tie it. The problem that I have, is that same trip/hook wasn't called 15 minutes ago, but it is all of a sudden now with 3 minutes left.

    Hopefully the Canucks can pull out a big win tonight and head home with a 3-1 series lead, I am going to game 5 on Saturday and would love to see them wrap it up.
