A PLEA TO 10c: tell us about all the touring regions at once

    will never happen. They like the fact that people will buy tickets in a crazed haze and then buy even more tickets when the band actually plays your neck of the woods..I feel that most pearl jam fans would rather see the band three or four times than see a festival type show. An example would be... announcing a huge festival and then a month later announcing much cooler, smaller shows surrounding the festival. . Is it mean? Yes. Does it put us fans in a bad spot? yes.. but i guess if we had a little self control it wouldn't be so easy to dupe us :D

    well for me, if a festival is my only way of seeing pearl jam live...more than likely, i pass. my days of truly enjoying festivals are long gone, tho quite honestly, they were never really my thing. as of right now, if all pj play is SF and ACL...even if 10c announced 'that's it!' i still wouldn't be going. sure, maybe...just maybe...i'd consider it if it were closer to home, but honestly...doubtful. that said, anyone who hits up the festivals, i hope they have a BLAST!


    i DO truly wish and hope that 10c will return to announcing a FULL TOUR so we ALL can make informed decisions. hell, i traveled to europe to see pj in 2006, AFTER seeing them 3x i think right here at home! so for me it's not just about going and hitting *any* shows to catch pj, it's just a good excuse to help me plan a good itinterary ;)....and sure, it's great fun to combine travel and pj! however, that isn't always possible...so you bet....it just would be NICE to know, one way or another........

    Ahhh Italia :D I had to laugh in Jeff's interview when he said he hoped it didn't rain the next time they played Verona... and I think it added to the show even if I was still drying my shoes out in Milano :o:D I agree though a full tour announcement at once would be great but not the end of my world.

    seriously...i agree........but you bet, while on the subject...i'll ALWAYS weigh in with my 2 cents, which let's face it....usally turns into 25 cents :D ....that it most definitely is a GREAT IDEA to announce a FULL TOUR all at ONCE. but hey, i'm a dreamer........;)

    and seriously...that is NOT the kind of *encouragement* i need, at all. :evil: i am quite easily, and naturally....not very well-behaved to begin with, i have not been well-behaved at all these past few years.....and while i do prefer to dream ;)......'reality'...especially in 2009, is just far too real to ignore...so yes, i really AM trying, and wanting, to be well-behaved. that said, we'll see what announcements come down the road...and hell, i could win the lottery before then, hit some unexpected windfall...who knows? :mrgreen:

    yes, I know, there'll be annoying people bugging you for exact dates/places if there's no details, but that'll be less than pissed off people because they've bought US tickets (that you won't allow to transfer) only to find out a months later they had a gig at home/nearby (not everyone reads the boards for rumours.. and anyway 2003 taught us not to rely on rumours for deciding where to go or not :cry: ).

    If nothing else, you can help the planet by avoiding people making unnecessary long haul flights :mrgreen:

    simply a "West Coast and Southern US dates to be announced in a few weeks" at the end would be appreciated.

    They should give those of us in the USA and Canada a heads up that they will be touring North America after they are done with Europe.

    You guys are off point (High Fidelity and Vedder girl). The subject of the post is "tell us about all the touring regions at once". I believe the threadstarter meant - regions of the US. You know, so we're not all flying our assess around the country needlessly (for those of us with economic concerns). What I'm looking for in particular - and what was hopefully the intent of the threadstarter - is NAMES OF CITIES ALL AT ONCE. I think those in other countries are probably looking for the same.

    So here's a Sat morning bump for 10C treating us with some consideration during this depressed economic time in our country.....

    I don't think so.. besides, the OP lives in U.K. :) -- and we have economic concerns here in Europe too u know... ;)

    But yes... It would be great to know more about their touring plans...so that all of us could make some plans of our own about where to go.. how to travel etc. :)

    I agree to this.

    Whilst it is most fun for 10c to keep increase our agony of waiting and then releasing info bit by bit ( :lol: ), it does affect money and travel plans.

    Announce all countries that are being planned all at once. Please. Thanks. :)
