I would doubt that. St. Louis is a tremendous baseball town. They love the Cardinals there. They have a big homefield advantage. Denver is more of a football and after the success of the Avalanche a hockey town than a baseball town.

If they're anything like the Broncos fans of yore they're gonna be a factor. I suspect, this being the rare moment that it is there's gonna be a lot of extra-loudness.

I agree they'll be loud, but being down 2-0 will take a good bit of life out of them. I'm more worried about the thin air and the huge outfield than the crowd.

I think it's a clean slate for the home team. It should be interesting.

Rootin' for the Sox, and a good Series overall.

SOX in 5, they are playing great ball, I would sit Ortiz in Denver and keep Yuke in he brings great D and his bat is just as strong as pappys at the moment.

The Red Sox held their homecourt now let's see what they'll do in the thin air. Also what they'll do with the designated hitter desisions. Let's hope they make the right ones with Youk, Ortiz and who plays 3rd.

With that said, Now Let's Go Sox one game at a time. :)

I have a feeling a few baseballs will be orbiting the earth by Monday.

I would never sit Ortiz. Never. The only time Yuk beats out Ortiz is if a lefty starts. Then, maybe.

I read that and it was interesting. Not that I'm necessarily going to a stadium to eat but it is a nice when the food options are not just the standard hot dog, pretzel and peanuts. It's nice to see that variety in an older place like Fenway as that's something you tend to see in some of the newer parks (San Francisco and Baltimore from my experience)

“We honestly as a team believe that we do feel we belong here,” shortstop Troy Tulowitzki said Friday before the Rockies’ workout. “They’ve played better than us these first two games and that’s why they’re up, 2-0. But we belong here and now it’s time to go out and show some people.

But the seats were – and still are – small, the bathrooms inadequate and there was always a chance you might sit behind a pole or something.

I can recall in the 80's-90's when used to buy standing room only to watch a game or behind a pole just to see the Sox play. I even sat near some people who sat under a toilet or restroom above that dripped down everytime someone flushed upstairs.

It was hideous, I wished they could add more seats so when I come to town I can get a ticket without having to give up a arm and a leg.

Dude the raise in ticket prices is the sox management's response to the republic of Mass not subsidizing a new stadium for them...you could look it up. So essentially management is saying "fuck you your paying" to the fans who said "fuck you we're not paying". Anyway the whole thing comes down to economics and how Ronald Regan, the World Bank, and the IMF have ruined everything in our lives including baseball.
