    I just took the postcards to the guy that does my framing. He had no idea who Pearl Jam is. He just knows that I am a huge fan, and he's very intrigued by the artwork that is generated by their concert posters.

    I told him to do whatever, to use his own creativity. I'm sure he had some sort of method and order, but it didn't come from me.

    Ah, I see. My mathematical/artistic mind would go crazy staring at something not set in grid formation, that was why I asked. I immediately counted 35 cards, and thought "7 rows of 5!!" I just have a total obsession with order and organization (though to look at the mess in my house, you might not believe it!). I guess it's just when it comes to art, and specifically my own art.

    I didnt frame any posters but i just framed my Ten basketball disc in a sweet lp frame.

    No, it's not a dry mount. I did it myself through American Frame. All acid free mattes and backer, and UV-glass. Came to $90.

    I like the yellow matte on your Toronto poster. I never thought of using yellow.

    how fixable are creases?

    i'm sure it depends on the severity of them but generally... is there a way to smooth em out?

    Not hard. If you get it framed by a pro they have machines they use to flatten the poster before they frame it.

    Thanks. I tried a bunch of different combinations. It seemed any combination of yellow/brown/red worked with that poster.

    That's exactly what I'm thinking...7 rows of 5. I'm going to float them between 2 sheets of glass, no matte.

    Alright girls and boys...I have just come across some $$ so I want to frame a poster...but I can't freaking decide which one!!! I have the gorge done with a blue mat and black frame...and suggestions on which to do next?

    Have you posted pictures of your framed posters? I love seeing what other people have done, while I'm still trying to figure out how to frame mine (Gorge is next). How did the Missoula poster turn out? Did your brother like it? I'd love to see that as well! :D

    To answer your original question, I agree with Santa Barbara for next (I can't actually find your collection on expressobeans, but SB is a cool poster).

    To answer your original question, I agree with Santa Barbara for next.

    Missoula was kind of a disaster...I got the frame from AmericanFrame, and the glass broke when I was trying to put it together...and it was just a mess. SO he has the poster, the mat the frame, just no glass. SO hopefully he'll put it together soon. I was very dissapointed because I was thrilled to give it to him... and it just didn't work out too well.

    Oh, sorry to hear that - it was such a great idea. Oh well, a new peice of glass (or maybe plexi for the disaster-prone ;)) shouldn't be too hard to replace.

    No it'll all work out...he's just a broke college boy though, so he'll have to squeeze the funds for a piece of glass inbetween beer and pot. WE'll see, I've done my part :)

    I have a Pearl Jam 1998 Los Angeles Ames poster with some horrible creases. It looks awful compared to the rest of my collection. I have just recently started framing my posters, and don't really know what to do with one in this kind of shape.

    I took it to my framer, to see what magic they could work on it. They said the only way to make it "crease-less" was to dry mount it.

    I would just like to see what the overall opinion about this is. Frame it with the creases, dry mount it, or do something else.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    If I'm getting a poster framed, do I have to measure it at home, or can I go to the store where I am getting it done and they will do all the measurements for me?
