    they rotate but it's kind of odd. an example is the dodgers. i like the system now of interleague because it's interesting when things like the yankees going to san francisco happen for the first time since 1962. But getting back to my dodgers point, I find it strange that considering all the World Series history between them and the Yankees that they haven't had a series in Yankee Stadium.

    I hate that they're doing that. They don't really need a new stadium. It seems like it's all about making more money, as if the original one isn't a gold mine as it is.

    I don't think they care though
    it's all about $. Plus then they are going to increase ticket prices even more. My Dad took me to a game and it costs a fortune, not even including the tickets. It probably costs a family of 4 at least $200 to go to a game. How can people afford that? It's not right.
    A bleacher seat was $40!

    that's a site by local residents that details what it's like in the neighborhood with the construction going on.

    i'm all for progress and would love to see this project re-vitalize the south bronx, but i'd think there might be other ways to do this besides a mammoth ballpark that takes parkland away.

    what did michael kay mean when he was talking about joba not going out for the 8th? he was saying some "rule" where if he pitched 2 innings he wouldn't be available until wed, but since he only pitched one inning he'll be available on tuesday? i would think that cashman sent a strict order down to torre to not pull a proctor on this kid and overuse him...?

    they don't want to get him over a set amount of innings since it's his first season of professional baseball. I think the number is at 130.

    Angels next. The Kid goes tomorrow night and the Halos are looking over their shoulders at a very hot Seattle ball club. The M's are only 2 back in the West.

    They were arguing on YES about this. I couldn't follow it because they were getting all pissy pants about it. That kid is amazing. Truly. I think they are really, really trying to protect him.
