Actually I heard (from 10club) that it is the theatre itself that limits it to 18+. We might go and hope we can hear it from outside since we can't go in (I'll have my daughter with me).

Yes and they are stict there, they had someone I knew arrested for underaged drinking.......... funny story.........

It was about six years ago, the vic is usually a brew and view movie theater, when you go with someone under the age they say, buy them a drink you go to jail.

Well my friend was on a first date with a boy who was 21, he bought a drink and shared with her and they went to jail.... first date in jail sweet :)

Detroit2NYC, we have been to lots of the same shows.

Honestly, I remember when PJ played the Masonic in Detroit. It was a small show and it was a lottery. We had to look in the Free Press to see if the last 4 digits of our SS# were listed to see if we got tix. I cried for a week straight when I didn't get tix to that. This will be worse. I mean, Christ, I am a mother now, tears will be shed.

The Breslin show was my first ever, eventhough I had been a fan since 1992. I cried when they opened with Release!

I'm giving up an afternoon book club on "Evening" for a chance to get tickets. Good book, by the way. I'd recommend it :)

Yeah, I was lucky enough to get the $60 lolla 3-day passes too but that means two things:
1.) that its ok to spend more money on an extra show while in Chicago
2.) that my luck may have run out already. who gets that lucky twice in a row??

It is walking distance down the street from Wrigley Field. A nice walk but I have done it many times.

Belmont and Sheffield to be exact. Not too close to the lolla site but right by the El station.

this is awesome. I really hope I score tix.

If I don't, Im willing to trade posters, or trade a place to sleep to anyone who take me with (plus ill pay for my ticket). Really! It's a short 8 block walk, and my very well stocked bar will be open to ya before the show... Email me.

The Vic is a very intamate place. This is a great neigborhood for before and after party type activites. Good luck to everyone thursday!

    stalking was a joke

"hanging around " is a better word

if it was me it would be "loitering"
