    OK My wife said I could go, as long as I don't use the CC to do it. Thought about selling an Easystreet to help pay for this, but maybe I just need to miss this one.

    Or we have a fund raiser, and everyone just send me $10?

    There isnt anything good about not trying for tix but when you cant make it I guess you just cant make it.

    Well, I checked into the fee for changing the flight and since I am using air miles, it ended up being hardly anything.

    And my students were very cooperative about moving that class to Wednesday.

    What's one more night in a hotel for an opportunity like this?

    I will be trying for tix...and if I get them, I will probably (70% chance) have an extra.

    Of course, assuming that I get tickets is quite an assumption.

    Are there tix being sold at the venue box office at all? I didn't think so; I know they're not for sale on TM or Live Nation etc. or to the general public.

    You forget friends, family and of course VIPS - that is probably 300-400 right there.

    1,400 people - band's family, friends, industry people = x

    x/2 = number of pairs to the fan club

    Hope your right - but wishful thinking I suspect. Think of all the bands in town PJ is friends with and of course they get to bring their family and friends as well.

    Don't know the difference in size between the upper and lower sections. But could easily see 10c=lower and everyone else = upper.

    If my friends and I each get 2 tickets there would be extras. Of course this is wishfull thinking.

    It is going to be tough if only 1 person gets tickets and has to piss people off when they make a decision on who to bring.

    If, on the nearly impossibly chance, both my travel companion and I both get tickets, I will not need to look far to get rid of any extras! I know who deserves them, and I wouldn't ask for anthing but 1/2 the cost of the pair, and a high five! :)

    these tickets will sell out in 1.2 seconds

    Here's a good example of why posting a list of people trying for this won't work.

    In 05, when PJ had a raffle for like 50 pairs of Borgata ten club tickets, no one from this board won (or at least posted the won) and only 1 or 2 people from Red Mosquito posted they won. So the overwhelming majority of people who won the chance to buy fan club tickets through the raffle were non-board members. I would go as far to say that the people posting on the message boards account for maybe 20-30% of the fan club base if that much.
