    That would have been 2004, they played the angels in 2005. in 2004, they dropped the first game hitting into a bunch of double plays and then won Game Two in extra innings.

    Wow it doesn't seem like it was that long ago! My Dad and I got the tickets the day of the game, they released them and they were pretty good, right behind the left field foul pole but on a lower level. ..

    We must have been at the 2nd game b/c we were at the game they won! We left early which I know seems scandalous but I had to work early the next day.

    I worked w/people who were at that Aaron Boone Game 7 and they said it was the most incredible baseball game they had ever seen. And they were not young men!

    that was a long game, alex rodriguez won it with a double in the 12th.

    I left early, I had to work the next day. I don't really remember much about it other than that they jacked up all the prices! And it's SO loud! It's crazy there, but it's amazing during the playoffs. It's like nothing else.

    i remember going one day to the bleachers and the guard was telling me where my seat was. But the game I went to this year. I just sat anywhere.

    well, Cano sure isn't camera shy, now is he? Maybe it's just me, but I always felt that winning a wild card didn't merit that raucous a celebration. I think the only time to break out the bubbly is:

    winning the division
    going to the World Series
    winning the World Series

In fact, when Brady Anderson hit a HR into the bleachers you can see me clear as day stand up and prepare to catch the ball, as it was hit RIGHT at me. Alas, with a few hundred people going for it, all I got was a face full of cement. The ball ended up bouncing off my seat, and into the hands of the fellow directly behind me. He threw it back onto the field, as custom dictated

    before Wang gave up the home run to Pena. Yankee starters haven't given up a hr in a 110 innings. The most since the 1980 Yankees.

    I was about eight seats or so from you, and one of my friends was the guy who threw it back. Weird.
