    its wasnt the best of games, no. i thought both teams played weak games, and i read in the paper this morning about both teams complaining about the ice at the pond for game 1. worse than usual.
    now they are down 2-0.

    fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

    SE -- I didn't mean to be snotty with that post, I hope you didn't take it that way.
    And I heard that too....bad ice. And you're right, I've seen both teams play much better. A lot of key Oilers are real sick right now too with the flu.
    Anyway, I'm hoping that this 14 game losing streak continues and the Oilers wrap it up in four! :D Go Oilers Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    the only thing that cheered me up at the Pond during game 1 was seeing a bunch of teenagers jump out of a van wearing oilers jerseys, except for one, because he was wearing a pearl jam canada 2005 tour shirt. i would have said something, but he is the enemy.
    at least oiler fans werent cocky like those flamers we had in the first round. man were they annoying.

    So.......I guess that means that we'll tailgate in the rain!!! :D The boys think we are crazy, but us girls said it'll take a lot more than a little rain to stop us!!! We're heading over to the Rexall parking lot in a little bit to partake in the Molson Canadian Patio Party and a few beers ;) before heading in to Rexall to cheer our sick little Oilers on. In case you didn't know, at least 4 or 5 of the Oilers are suffering from the flu right now. Anyway, talk to you all after the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO OILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I went to Edmonton this weekend to experience some of the craziness that is going on there. Needless to say it was a damn good time. I had tried posting in this thread from my sisters house buy it wouldnt let me log on.

    On the way back from Edmonton last night, I stopped at the rez and I finally grabbed my son back (i.e. my dog Jasper). He freaked, pushed me to the ground and gave my face a bath, he was whimpering the whole time, I may have shed a tear.

    Going to watch the game tonight with some friends.

    That was amazing. I would challenge anyone to find another arena in North and argueably South America where the fans sing both anthems with such gusto.
