On the southern tip, Strawberry Shortcake.

The strawberries and cream must be on a buttery, flaky biscuit. Not that weird spongecake oddity.

I think Jams and Sen both like Cafe Flora too. We should have a nice lunch or dinner out together.
Walking can be a real trip

This would be southern USA food.

Smoked BBQ ribs come to mind. Nothing taste better than a rack of ribs after 12 hours in a smoker. Hell anything smoked on the BBQ down here is good.

The whole fried thing as said. I just had some fried pickle chips last weekend.
Fried catfish is quite a common item down here.

Not sure if it is unique to where I am from but there is a meal called a "Low Country Boil." It is shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob and sausage all boiled together in a pot. You just drain and dump it out after cooking and everyone just picks at it. Not to high class I suppose but damn it is good.

For desert try a mixed berry pie with berries picked that morning. I usually use raspberries, black berries and strawberries. Sometimes I add blue berries too. Put a scoop of homemade ice cream on a warm slice and it is heaven.

**sidles up to new friend Lottery** :D

hehe!!! Can I come to your place for dinner? :)

:D Nah, just kidding, won't be in the area, but that all sounds yum! :)

    Yum! Yum! YUM! :)

I was a bit confused because a taco shell here is hard but I see from what you've written and from the links that they're actually wrapped in tortillas. :)

Yeah, I think I'm going to love these. :)

Here we have a del mar sauce which is creamy, pink and spicy and has prawns in it. You can have it on burritos, tacos or tortillas, actually I think you can even have it on nachos. We used to buy it direct from the local Mexican place for parties and get togethers and just warm it a little and dip corn chips in. :) It's good!

Really don't understand why you'd bother with B&Js when you've got all the yummo gelateria in Melbourne town.

It's like being from Dublin and going to some outback Aussie pub for a Guinness. Rome and going to the Starbucks in Seattle for a cappucino. Oh yeah, by the way, the original Starbucks, it's across the road from Pike Place markets. Go boo at it.
