    Sounds similar, but I've never had halloumi, so I don't know... But yeah, cheese curds are salty, squeaky and are a byproduct of cheese production, so they're probably a lot a like. In poutine it's similar to cheese, but the texture and flavour is different. It doesn't usually squeak in poutine, it's all melty.... Good god I'm craving poutine now! lol

    melty is good. :D melty is very good. :D and I like salty too, so yeah, perhaps it will be better than it looks? :D
