    He said he wasn't on the show, even though Howard tried to convince him that he was on the show. I only heard parts of his segment, but the screen said "Eric the Midget calls in and apologizes." I didn't hear an apology. Maybe someone else can shed light on this.

    Is anyone else really annoyed by Richard lately with all his whining about his bits not being played? He was complaining on the Wrap Up show yesterday that he hated hearing Eric because he knew it would take time away from his stuff. Just shut up and let Howard run the show!

    I have to give him credit though, that phone call they played Wednesday with him calling the high school reunion had me crying from laughing so hard.

    The high school reunion call is great. Ethel (richard) keeps asking the guy if he remembers people like Fred Norris, etc. Then he gets crazier and crazier and at one point he asks the guy if he remembers when someone (Artie maybe) got bit by a werewolf and the reunion guy had to shoot him with a silver bullet. I am cracking up thinking about it now.

    I agree. Its tough to follow when many of the discussions references current events....from 1997.

    A "best of the week" would be good. It would require a lot of work on Thursday night, but so be it.

    And Bubba...that show is getting old fast. Its just not funny. Howard or whoevers in charge should give Brent his own show. The rest of them suck. I tried listening today when they had Tucker Carlson on and it was just lame.

    Put Cavino and Rich on Friday mornings. Better than the crap on now, and those guys are pretty funny.
    All that's sacred, comes from youth....dedications, naive and true.

    That was incredible. :) It would have been better if he called an old woman though. I think the man knew it was a goof halfway through, and besides, nothing's better than an old, offended pissed off woman in these prank calls.

    I like Bubba, the guy. Last Friday I wanted to listen to Jay Thomas' show, but when I got in my car a little before 8am Pacific Howard was on 100 and Bubba on 101. I listened to Bubba and it was ok, but not something I'm going to make a point to listen to. I think it is cool how Howard has set up the channels with stuff for a lot of different tastes. I did enjoy listening to Bubba and his guys talk about the presidential race. But I didn't get all the inside jokes and I can't get invested in learning a whole new show's lingo!

    The humor is just not funny to me. Belive me, I gave it a chance. I completely understand that there is an audience out there that digs him (it appears to be mostly southern) and thats why he has a show. I do think that if Sirius really wanted to lock him up, they would have paid him and gave him a multi year deal. The dude works two jobs. I am sure he is not starving (I saw Bubba cribs), but if he is one of your "guys", you pay him and give him a long term deal. I would not be suprised if they do not renew the deal when it comes up next year.

    Ferrall however is fucking awesome. I hear his morning rerun on 101 and they should definately put him on Friday mornings and market his show more. Howard hardly mentions him.

    Yeah I wasn't really defending him or arguing with you. I don't think about him enough to care if he's on the channels or not. I think it's interesting when Stern talks about him.

    I think Sirius is thinking Bubba is not going to bring in a lot of new subscribers, his show is more of something you would discover after having Sirius. I would not be surprised if they didn't renew his contract next year either. It would disappoint me though, even though I don't listen to him. I think it's cool to have real radio people on the channels.

    It does seem like Howard doesn't mention Ferrall or Bubba that much anymore. I don't think it's intentional, there's a lot going on and I don't want the show to be a constant commercial for what else is on 100 and 101. There is enough ads during the show for other shows and plugs for various things.
