Frustration my friend. You haven't seen passionate fans until you've seen them cheer the visitors out of spite.

On another note, how's YOUR ass?

Trying to get the team going.

Impressive comeback indeed, yet 2-6 in the last 8 against you, I still would rather avoid your team in the playoffs. And the Sens. And the Penguins......

this year the playoffs are wide open imo

any team who gets hot can make it to the cup imo

if we play like we did the first 30 mins,,we can go
and if u play like the last 30 mins u can go lol

Well it is good to know that we aren't the only team that takes 20, 30 or 40 minute naps during hockey games.

i like tom renney, but where the hell was his emotion lastnight?!

they kept showing him when it was 5-5 and he was as calm as could be. any other coach in the league would spitting with anger and ripping his players a new asshole.

jagr unable to slide that puck into an empty net in the shootout, just strengthened the fact that the man just cannot finish anymore.

wonder are they going to boo him or not ?

Time to Put a Hurting on Some Hurting Teams
The Rangers face the Buffalo Sabres for a second Saturday in a row after a week in which their rivals made up many if not all of their games in hand. With their one point in Montreal, the Rangers stayed even with Buffalo and Boston this week, and stayed one point ahead of the streaking Islanders, who have won six in a row.

Tonight in Buffalo and tomorrow vs. Carolina at the Garden, the Rangers are facing two hurting teams. Buffalo had a host of forwards miss practice yesterday, and though some of them will surely play tonight, one cannot expect them or the team as a whole to be at full strength. Likewise Carolina, who have done well (4-1-1 in their last six) despite losing Rod Brind'amour for the season and Cory Stillman in a trade. The Rangers, healthy except for Petr Prucha, who is a game or two away from returning, have to take advantage and put a hurting on these hurting teams.

For more on Buffalo's manpower situation, see the AP and Buffalo News. Chris Drury returns to Buffalo for the first tme since leaving there as a free agent. Will he be booed? See the Post, AP, and Buffalo News. Game preview at NYR.com. The Journal News and Newsday get Ranger player reaction to the approaching trade deadline. Stan Fischler looks at all three area teams at MSG.com as the deadline approaches. ESPN lists the top ten deadline deals -- the 1994 Rangers are right up there, as you'd expect. Howlings recaps the Pack's last game. the Courant and Howlings preview their next game, and Prospect Park reviews last night's action elsewhere.

of course they're going to boo him. scott niedermayer won three cups with the devils, took less money to play with his brother and was still booed when the ducks played at the devils on feb. 8.
