dubinsky drops the gloves with richards.
nice way to close out that game.

whats even nicer is that the final 2 games of the season are against these GFlyers, ( home and home ) so those games will really be very important to our Blueshirts

Monumental game for Avery , after being benched , and scoring 2 in the net and drawing a few also.
He was hitting regularly on every shift,& setting up his linemates .
Hopefully, this Sean Avery will stick around the remainder of the season.

We move within 1 point of the { 8 th slot } Boston Bruins ( yeah they have 2 games in hand )

    aside from avery
i loved Dubinsky taking it to Mike Richards.

They think we forgot about Carcillo calling out Gaborik to fight the last time.

Big game. I think 6 in a row is too tall an order for our boys, but we'll see.

technically yes, but won't be if they get beaten like they did last night. there were not a lot of passengers last night as the coaches like to say.

Not to belittle Lundqvist, but if more than 3% of my team knew how to aim instead of blast it right at the goalie's five hole or logo, the score would have been brutal...

thought we hung with the Habs till those closing minutes.

we cant seem to take that hold of a game, even at home .

maybe its better that i think 8 of the next games are roadgames.

rygar - would you have been happier with Auld in the twines? Of course you would have ,....

hung with them??????? they outplayed us by a wide margin from start to finish

its a disgrace that a team doesn't show up for a big game

Closer to the truth. You guys showed up for the last period.
Wouldn't have mattered who was in goal - if you're gonna shoot at a five hole that is obviously covered over and over again, it's not going to go in.

wasnt it 2-1 all the way thru?

    * granted i was a little busy / distracted hitting refresh / F5 for my MSG2 ticklets until after 9pm so my brains were a tad bit scrambled.

1-0 after 1, 1-1 after 2, 2-1 early in the third and stayed that way till the empty netter.

It's helpful, but because he got hit with a puck doesn't mean he showed up. The only thing he did on purpose was talk smack, slash someone and get a game misconduct.

i'm sure Avery will be at the Pearl Jam shows come May.

I remember in 2003, I met and chatted with Kasparaitis in the hallway.
Turns out he's a huge PJ fan .
He was with an incredible looking Russian Supermodel . :o

True, but it was still 'an accident' goal ;)
