    as shaky as it may have gotten ,

    the fact that the Rangers were down 6 men to 4 in the last 1:11 ,

    and they didnt surrender a single shot on goal ,

    kept all the Atlanta snipers to the outside , basically taken care of ,

    thats pretty damn impressive .

    I dont really like the 1pm starttime, in the middle of a saturday, but thats just my opinion .

    The thing that scares me about game 1 was that the Thrashers got games from guys that they're not ever going to get back. Shane Hnidy isn't scoring again, Brad Larsen isn't getting a multipoint game, probably neither is Dupuis. The grinders got the job done yesterday, the big guns didn't and that's why they lost. They must have gotten hit over the head with the hittin' stick because everybody out there was throwin the body around, even Kovy(????). If they go that all out physical in one game, they're going to blow their load and not make it to a six or seven.
