If you where coaching against the Pats and Belichick had him in the game still throwing the ball trying to run up the score with the Pats already up by 21 or more in the 4th quarter?
I would.
I would.

If they were running up the score like they did to the redskins i would.London 2005
Toronto 2011 night 2
Hamilton 2011
London 20130 -
Why did nobody ever want to do this to Peyton Manning in 2003 and 2004 when he was throwing bombs up 28 in the 4th quarter against the Houstons and Tennessees of the world...or against Steve Young when he was throwing his 6th TD pass against the Chargers in the 4th Q of the SuperBowl with a 24 point lead? This weekend we rock Portland0

If they go for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter like they did against Washington, someone is gonna hit him late, its inevitable.0

No, I like Brady and don't think he deserves that.... but I would tell my players if they are running out of bounds or chasing a guy out of bounds that they are encouraged to lay the smack down on Belichick and to try to knock him out of that freakin' sweatshirt....
I can't stand that miserable bastard. My whole life

are u retarded. running up the score is the most bs thing ive heard of. there is no rule against it. we were in new england during that washington game. we wanted to put on a show that game. the washington coach said that they were the biggest underdog in the NFL at the time. we wanted them to prove it.I will be what i could be

Going on it on 4th down with a 40+ point lead in the 4th is running up the score.0 -
the object in football is to score points
you dont stop until the game is over, no matter what the score
intentionally hurting someone is bad sportsmanship no matter the reason0 -

This is true... I don't have a problem with the Pats actually scoring that many points (and keep scoring after the game is well decided), but when you are going for it on 4th down and keeping your starters in at that point, then don't be surprised if someone takes a cheap shot at someone.
You would think that they'd want to get Cassel some meaningful reps incase something would happen to Brady... that is a great team with depth just about anywhere, but if Brady went down, they can kiss their season goodbye. That's why keeping him in in the 4th quarter up by 40 points is the stupidest, most arrogant thing that you can do.My whole life

Steve Young was actually saying the Pats were running up the score on the pregame a few weeks ago. He thought it was wrong for the NFL
I guess his memory is real bad.380 -

That doen't negate the fact that the starters wher STILL IN THE GAME0 -

I disagree with that-perhaps at the pop warner and high school level its unsportsmanlike, but not in the college or the pros.
I would say its bad coaching though, why risk injury to a starter.
But that brings me back to my original point, you dont stop until the game is over.0 -
absolutley. i would then send him after belicheat."Fuck the talkin' let's start rockin" - Eddie Vedder 9-5-00 Pittsburgh
