what was shady about the pats/colts game? (other than the fact that ALL the calls went against the pats).

i can't help where the pats are located and other teams are located. and i can't help if the dolphins don't know how to draft and make stupid trades (welker to the pats), or if the jets realized 2-3 years too late that their qb (pennington) sucks or if the bills, well, they should be a better team in my eyes regardless of losman.

if there wasn't expansion the colts would still be in the same division as the pats. imagine a regular season home and away?

and the browns game was at foxboro, not at the browns. the redskins aren't a chump team even though the pats destroyed them. hey, didn't the cowboys seem to have a tough time with them a couple weeks ago?

randall gay is not old. colvin is not all that old either. harrison is but i would take him on the pats over a lot of players 5 years younger than him. gay had a back injury and colvin had an arm injury (even though nbc said it was his foot. in football, players get hurt - doesn't mean they're old or they suck.

samuel's interception for a TD was not a gimmie pick. feely was an idiot for trying to go for the kill at the end of the game and 'deserved' to get picked. the neutral zone infraction was terrible. meanwhile moss had ANOTHER phantom offensive pass interference called against him and gostkowski's field goal was actually good despite the missed call by the refs.

more than half of the pats wins - jets, both bills games, miami, cincinnati, redskins and chargers were easy wins (in hindsight). the dallas game was over late-3rd quarter and the colts and eagles were the two toughest games the pats have played so far this year.

i would totally agree. i just laugh when people try to defend peyton and the colts saying "marvin harrison is out" or "dallas clark was hurt" or "tony ugoh this" and "anthony gonzalez that." please. look at what the pats and brady had during the last few years and then appreciate.
you misunderstood what i said about the colts game, the colts were the lucky team there, BUT they did drop a pick that would have ended the game. the eagles certainly would have been lucky to win. and the cowboys had the ball 4th and 1 to start the 4th down 31-24...so it was hardly over late in the 3rd. In fact they were down 38-24 with the ball at the 5 on first down with 9 mins left, again hardly over.

they lost to the jets, and the broncos...they could certainly beat the two best NFC teams, but they lost to the JETS man.
They are without a doubt very inconsistent. Losing to the Jets is nearly inexcusable.
But I think if they lined up against GB they'd win, and against Dallas it would be a fairly evenly matched game.

we'll just disagree since we're obviously looking at the game through the eyes of fans of different teams, but after scoring a TD with a little less than 5 mins left in the 3rd, the pats outscored the cowboys 24-3 the last 18 mins of the game regardless of where, when and what down the cowboys at the ball at.

I'll give you the fact that they did end on a nice stretch (though the last touch was in the range where most people would have kneeled on the ball, and was part of the impetus for the creation of this thread), but I will agree to disagree with you that the game was over late in the third quarter.
