Now, words have nothing to do with it. It's the tone, or auditory 'vibes' if you will. It's hard-wired into our brains. Water doesn't have brains either.

The thing is it seems you can't really prove much the effect of "vibes" so it seems like a moot point to imply water doesn't have "brains". Mystics through the ages claim to perceive "vibes" and their far-reaching effects. You may not believe it. It doesn't mean it's not true.

Emoting of emotion is very palpable to personality type "feelers". And I'm not talking through the use of words or tone alone. I understand why NMyTree gets this. Or why myself or Abook would, while you might not so much.

Not sure how scientific it was but, it made for an interesting show, and they seemed convinced (plausible) by it.

I missed that one. Generally I like the Mythbusters, ( not least since most myths turn out to be a crock), but while they try hard, they are not trained scientists and their methodology is flawed at times. They do some interesting stuff though.

9/10 it will be peripheral vision, the rest of them time it's just them looking behind them out of natural habit. We move our eyes approximate 5 times a second, naturally. We look around us all the time.

I here yeah, but not in the cases i've seen. I mean I'll be in a crowd even, spot a girl. and whoa, shes right on me. It's the vibes dude. vibes.

Remember, just because science can't or has yet to explain something, does'nt mean that it's unscientific.

a "vibe" (so to speak) can fall right into a science thing.

But maybe i'm wrong, I'm not too worried about it.

Consciousness has correlates in the brain and outside of the brain. It's related to the brain, but operates on parallel levels beyond it.

I'm undecided on the idea of writing words an a piece of paper can emit an emotion to inanimate objects. What happens of you mispell a word. Or spell live instead of love. Is their that much different energy emanating between an I and an O inkwise?

The interpretation of the human mind however is much greater than water.

What kinda ruined it for me is the fact the Emoto is selling his special "magic" water. Why would he do that?

The concept is there...the practicality from a scientific approach is not. It's a very grey area.

Its not a grey area. This is absolutely 100% crap. There is no scientific basis to it.

It can be holy water, it can be semen, it can be cat's piss, it's still H2O. The same molecule could have been part of Jesus and then Hitler, it's just freaking water.

So when the many things in this modern age that science has studied could not be studied in the past due to (lets say) undelveloped technologies. these things were "unscientific" then? So maybe we should keep in mind that one day we will have the technology to study said "vibes" or whatever else.

Supposedly, it takes several hours of close quarters talking on a daily basis to produce the required amount of "oxygenation" needed to help a plant.

Given that there are probably very few if any people out there who have spent that much time talking to their plants while in close quarters, I think it's safe to rule out oxygenation as the cause.

Everything reacts to everything in the physical scientific world. In this case is may not be actually as represented but as for the "vibe" thing science hasn't come close to explaining anything. We don't even fully understand the human mind yet (let alone quantum), so how can you even begin to say that with conviction?

When I was younger I believed in magic cpos I wanted to think that I was one of the special people who was capable of it.

As I grew older, and my ego matured, I raealised that I was not special, and did not need to be capable of magic, nor did it exist.

In stories, magic is always about something for nothing.

Really, we are all magicians here, communicatig over large distances instantly. When any technology becomes sufficiently complex that it's function is hidden to teh operator, it crosses the "magical event horizon" and becomes magic.

Water is the most receptive of all elements.

Approx 60 percent of the human body is water, the brain is composed of 70 percent water, and the lungs are nearly 90 percent water. About 83 percent of our blood is water.

If would be safe to assume, from a purely physical perspective, we are a lot more receptive than we think we are...
