Jesus. If the fact the guys sells his 'magic water' isn't a big enough alarm bell for you I don't know what is. For a start, his 'experiments' are not well designed. You can't select just one ice crystal from thousands and call it representative of the whole population anymore than you can select one person from a whole town and call them representative. I'd like to see images of at least 100 crystals from each of his samples. Not one that has been selectively photographed because its look fits the mood desired by the 'researchers'.
I can't believe I'm even arguing about this.
Which is exatly why I didn't follow the link at the top of the thread, I could tell it was crap without looking. Oooh, does that make me a clairvoyant ??? Wow, look Mum, I'm a clairvoyant !! I just proved I am !!!

Then I have just done something to hurt your spirit. And you feel it on a physical level. There are many chemical reactions firing off simultaneously in your body, all changing the particular magnetic field that extends out from your body. Some people call it aura. When you get close to someone else, and you get a bad feeling and it causes physical changes in your own body, (butterflies in your stomache, sweat, anxiety...), imo that could be an etheric interaction with someone elses magnetic field.
Non-smokers who live with smokers are more likely to get cancer than smokers. Why is that? I often wondered because in essence, isn't the smoker exposed to just as much secondhand smoke as the non-smoker. Maybe the difference is that the non-smoker is getting the exposure PLUS focusing on the illness and potential loss that they cause it to manifest in themselves.

I was talking to this doctor the other day at work who was saying that there are theories that an electron circulating around his heart cell could also be 20 feet away from him, and a smaller percentage that it could be at the moon and even a smaller percentage that that same electron could be on pluto. He was throwing out names of theories and formulas that were beyond my comprehension. But my point is that I don't know everything about everything so to discredit something because it hasn't been reproduced YET is ok. Given time we all may find out that he is a quack, or perhaps science will have an answer.
Maybe it was sound? EVERY substance resonates at a particular frequency. And that frequency is directly related to the objects mass. (Remember mythbusters breaking glass with the voice thing).
There is a video out there showing how sand vibrating at certain frequencies start to change shape and form intricate geometric patterns at certain frequencies.

Actually, I watched the movie and then told my brother how awesome it was. He was skeptical and really didn't believe it. Instead of saying "You don't know anything" and crying about it. I did investigate it. I found out it was complete bullshit.

Yours are the same as religious people, too. The difference between you and many religious people--but that puts you on an even playing field with the water experiments, is you are trying to pass your beliefs off as proven, when they are not. You are entitled to do so. However, with a little discernment it's easy to spot the flaw. First, you cannot prove a negative. With some humility, we know that for as much as we know, there is sooo much we don't know. Therefore reasonable people must keep an open mind. Go ahead, believe what you want to, however, you cannot pass faith off as proven. And when it's proven, it's no longer faith. "Religious" people are okay with faith, not feeling a need to prove anything. You take issue with that, while disguising your own faith to yourself.

Bullshit Angelica. I'm not trying to prove anything. Dr. Emoto via Abook is trying to prove something. I'm showing the flaws in his methods. Therefor as it stands the water magic bullshit is not proven. That's all that matters. It's not up to me to prove that is in fact wrong. I just prove that he hasn't proved anything. See how that works? The greatest minds in the history of our species have devised these ways of weeding out bullshit and it works. We have them to thank for it. You disgrace humanity by this bullshit logic you try to pull out to defend stupid beliefs. It's fucking dumb.

I took a shower this morning and I was clean. How fucking amazing water is, it must have loved me that's why it 'hugged' me in the shower and made me clean.
Or.. maybe it was the plumbing system that caused the water to flow out of the showerhead and 'hug' me, and it was the soap that fought the bacteria to make me clean. Maybe water didn't do anything, in-fact all the movement of the water depends on other forces.

I think the notion of the experiment supersedes the results. Regardless...the desired result is achieved for some...so it took place technically in some plane of existence.
I someone posts a good vibe...in reality it was just pixels..but it can/did evoke emotion, bonding good feelings etc... so it's more than just pixels in reality.

Correct. I put this out here for anyone interested. I know not everyone will believe or agree and that doesn't matter to me. They can post all day long about how much they disagree, in fact. I really don't have a need to have everyone believe what I choose to believe. If they do, great...I love sharing those connections. I sure as hell won't throw a tantrum when they choose not to see eye to eye, though. All I ask for is respect when we do encounter this differences not hostility.

You go after people's beliefs with your own. Have at it.

"Water can flow, or it can crash... Be water my friend."
Not sure, but I think you are choosing to crash. Try flowing... much better. To each his own.
Or if you prefer, "use the force."
Are you feeling hot under the collar trying to prove your point that you are right and someone else is wrong? What cellular changes are you making right now? Maybe your electrons are intermingling. From a metaphysical point of view, it is possible.
To each his own.
Go down to the hot water heater and slap a nice big "hug me" poster on it...see it you feel fresher tomorrow morning....
I'm going to try "tingly balls" and see what happens

I someone posts a good vibe...in reality it was just pixels..but it can/did evoke emotion, bonding good feelings etc... so it's more than just pixels in reality.
Depends on the perception and what makes one happy or more connected to another.
that's how I see it.

I read a few of the skeptics sites before I even posted this and some of them said things very similar to this. So I figured we could at least agree on that point. Boy, was I wrong!

I think you are insane. That's just my belief.
Sanity; How closely our view of reality matches reality.
