water is you as you are water.
matter is you as you are matter, do you matter?
and here is a twist for you.
you yourself are no better or greater than the water this thread is discussing.

I'm not in disagreence with you, but the question is, what?

I am an arrangement of matter that makes 'me' me. Water is water, but it doesn't sit down and play cards with me. While at the granular level everything is the same, at the macroscopic level, water is just water.

    water isnt just water.
    water is everything.
water doesnt play cards with you because water doesnt have to play
    cards with you.
water is beyond your card games.
water does what water needs to do.

Actually, hydrogen is closer to everything than water is. Water cannot be water without 2 hyrodgen atoms. Without hydrogen there would be no stars, no air and no water. There would be nothing.

Right, but the worst thing we can do is make assumptions about what we don't know. Such as Elan Vital or the Soul.

We cannot think or theorize then? Making assumptions or at least entertaining them, is what brings our thinking forward, and leads to discoveries. Some assumptions are more fruitful than others, perhaps, but without them, we cannot function.

A hypothesis is the idea that something might be true. An assumption is the assertion that such ideas are in-fact true.

why do you need the validation of the ppl on this board so badly? so badly you get so mean and attack for...having a differing opinion...????

and not only that, you just copy and paste w/o attributing the source, just taking little bits....do you think this or is just about proving ppl wrong? superiority?

Well actually you could still have air, it would just be very dry. . . Air is about 80% N2 and 20% O2, with trace amounts of other stuff. Not much hyrdogen or water really. . . .

So if we just start our sentences with "my hypothesis is..." you won't chew us up and call us ignorant etc etc? Here's an idea, just assume we all did, and take it from there.

Judging from the closed thread, I think you'd have great benefit of a timeout from this place. Which is really too bad, as I think you often make interesting threads.

or that our lives are all predetermined and yet we are all born 'blank slates' that can be turned into whatever the person raising the childen wants them to be??

or that your life is predetermined but you can control your emotions and rage?
