    the rutger's ncaa team is like maya angelou? what the fuck? 1) nobody gives a shit about women's basketball and 2) every basketball team in the country is full of black people... why is the rutger's team some sort of beacon of ethnic pride?

    I think this thread is pretty childish especially your behaviour, NMyTree. You have a good point, though. There probably is a double standard. And I think most black people think this Al Sharpton character is a tool. Nevertheless, some people will always be offended and I think you are one of them.

    One thing we need to realize is that we are all prejudice to some degree and some stereotypes are true. That is what makes them stereotypes. I am white and I cannot jump nor do I have many dance moves, I am okay with that. That doesn't make it true for all white people.
