    and so i followed gerard. on the way i passed by that arlo guy. he was talking with davey. so he knew davey. i rolled my eyes at that thought.

    Here he said as he gave me some water and a touwel, fix yourself up a bit before you go down stairs. The reason I asked you to come up here is because I want to call the police, and I want to do it with you present. They might want to ask you some questions.
    We were able to throw that scumbag out of here, but it wasn't easy. He did a lot of damage.
    I'd ask you to tell me who that was, but I reckon you will do so if you want. Anyway I want him arrested or whatever. I feel you might be in danger. I don't trust raving looney's like him.

    gerard didn't look happy that i was so willing to give vincent a get out of jail free card. but i knew he'd defer to me on this.

    'fine. do what ever you want gerard. but if i see one policeman walk through the door, then i am out of here and i'll find someone else to broker my art.'

    with that i walked out of the office. i knew he wouldn't call the cops cause he knew how stubborn i could be. and besides i was right on this. what did he think the police could do? vincent would be back on the streets in no time. that's even if they dragged him in at all. the police hated getting involved in domestics and involving them would only aggravate vioncent more and i know if he showed up at my front door that there'd be nothing i could do if he really wanted to get in. i didn't know where freya was. but i was glad that neither did her homicidal husband.

    Freya sat in her car in front of Anna's house for two hours now, she was seriously considering to just go in and wait for her there. However given the circumstances she thought it best not to push her luck.

    twiddling with the knob, freya travelled up and down the radio frequencies looking for something that she wanted to listen to.
    she used to love music but lately it was a fulltime job trying to stay on vincent's good side. not that he had one. but he was getting increasingly possessive and violent and she didn't know how to handle it.
    she knew if he found her he would beat her. she couldn't go to the police, cause unless they were prepared to lock him up he'd come after her. she was starting to understand anna's journey's inside herself. frustration could get you to do things you wouldn't normally even think about. freya started the car with thoughts of the beach in her head. she'd phone anna later.

    as soon as we got through the door, i excused myself to go to the bathroom.
    when i came out, arlo was standing in front of one of my paintings. he glanced sideways when he sensed me.
