After episode 9 they could've shown a pile of shit with a sword in it for 55min.

When I finish book 3, should I continue with the series or read some other shit? I have a few other books I want to read.

For my two cents Book 4 is pretty good and Book 5 is much better. I would say keep plugging away. Very tough to come back to them and remember all of the plots, sub-plots, whisperings, betrayals, schemes, etc that make them such great books.

you may know this already but Book 4 and 5 happen at the same time but cover different characters.

Book 4 Feast for Crows has some of the lesser names and introduces a lot more of dorne stuff. Looking back in it i liked it but at the time i was like WHERE ARE MY FAV peeps!!!

Book 5 was better has more of the favorites.

so if you decide to read on def go ahead and catch up on both of them. I enjoyed them both but felt they are the weakest of the series thus far although Dance with Dragons has some really cool moments

  • Feast for Crows was a very hard slog for me, I was quite bored and all my least favourite characters were in it.

I've just finished the first 5 episodes of season 1. I think they've done a great job with it. The casting for Jaime is spot on.

Not sure if this has been posted here before, but it is hilarious. I watched all of the Gay of Thrones episode recaps. They are pretty entertaining. :D

Another season over already. I really hope that the show doesn't catch up with the books, but it seems likely.

The Red Wedding was awesome. A few minor disappointments regarding Grey Wind, and Catelyn, but still some surprises. Reading all the hate tweets was fun.

The finale was underwhelming except for the badassness of Arya, the assholeness of Joffrey and Tywin, Hodor, the tale of the Rat Cook, Dick in a Box, and Davos reading! Actually, on a re-watch, the episode was great!
Except for the last scene with Dany crowd surfing. It just seemed really cheesy, but that's ok because the show is just so freaking good!

The FFG game? I think i have the 1st edition of it but played it so long ago i dont even remember what I thought of the game. The card game was really good, but it probably has changed so much since i last played, something like 5 years ago.

Most games from FFG have tomes for instructions, if you dont know someone that already played, your best option is just jump right in. Just play as you turn the pages, their games aren't as difficult as the rules make them seem.

'Game of Thrones' casts major season 4 role: Oberyn the Red Viper

The most anticipated new role coming to the fourth season of Game of Thrones has been filled.
Prince Oberyn Martell will be played by Chilean actor Pedro Pascal, who has previously had arcs on CBS’ The Good Wife, ABC’s Red Widow and USA’s Graceland.

He looks like a good Red Viper, no complaints on that casting. Now just months of waiting.

Finally, one of the greatest shows in television history, Game of Thrones, will be spoofed like no show has been spoofed before. Minds are about to be blown like fire from the mouth of a dragon onto the face of anyone who screws with the Mother of Dragons! Written & directed by award-winning director, Lee Roy Myers, Game of Bones – The XXX Parody will feature porn renditions of all of your favorite characters, and Joffrey! Like Ned Stark, no expense has been spared. The WoodRocket team has been hard at work for months re-creating the iconic costumes, sets, props, and even a grand throne to rule the royal loins.

Destined to join the classics like 'Sheepless in Seattle', 'Juranal Park' & 'Edward Penishands.'

So I've been watching the Tudors. It's similar to GoT but the writing isn't as good (imho) and there definitely isn't as much nudity, but there's still a lot. And there is much, much less blood.

The theme song sounds like a mix of the songs from X-Files & House.

Attn Ladies/interested men: In the first episode of The Tudors you get to see (the new) Superman's bare ass. (Yes, this is why I started watching it)

NCW definitely deserved it, and not just the bath or hand scenes. Dude was nailing it all season.

I've seen a few complaints about Michelle Fairley, but seemed to be missing alot of the season and I kinda thought she overdid the Red Wedding scene. She was flawless as Catelyn through her run, but when she stood up and grabbed Frey's wife it felt way over acted to me.
