The cost to park at the Hyatt for the 4 days that I am going to be in Chi-town was just a shade less than the cost of our two round trip flights from Buffalo to Chicago.

You flying to Midway or O'Hare?
  • Anyone staying at the Holiday Inn Express? I got that from Hotwire about a month ago for under $60. The only knock on it was small rooms. Since I will be by myself I don't care how big the rooms are...especially since I plan on not being in the room much. The location is awesome for sight-seeing and hitting some of the cool food spots like Al's.

Yeah, absolutely no need for a car when traveling to Chicago. The train system is really good.

This place is going to be crazy. We are staying Fri/Sat/Sun. Then Toni and kids are going home Monday morning and I am crashing with someone.

A great way to meet fans from all over and have a few drinks/food before the show. The Wishlist Foundation sells shirts and stuff for charity and people donate collectables to be raffled off.

They can get pretty big. The one at Hartford last year was huge!

Just an update...I've been trying to reserve some space at the bar at the Regency, but am getting a bit of a runaround from them...

I called in the early evening, and was told to call Sales in the morning, then Sales told me I had to call the Big Bar in the evening, and Big Bar isn't answering the phone...
