how does one Priceline this successfully now (probably) thanks.
There is no way to specifically Priceline the Hyatt. Depending on which day you are checking in (Saturday check-ins always cost more), I would just start bidding in the high 50s for a 4 star and go from there...
Im looking forward to meeting you I wish I knew you guys' faces so I dont miss any of ya'!!

My friend was on priceline today and the Hyatt Regency on Wacker dr. was not an option with the 4 star hotels anymore :( . Looks like he may have waited too long. They're only looking to book the hotel for Monday night, hope it opens up for them again.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
What You Giving
I suggest you step out on your Porch.

You must be looking at the regular purchase option. The deal that everyone is talking about here is using the "name your own price" option. Is is using that where you get the great deals. If you need me to walk you through it send me a PM and I will explain it all to you...

Hey all...I was gone for a week on vacation and haven't had a chance to update the list on the frontpage...I still can't believe people are still getting rooms there...this is going to be crazy.
I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if we can reserve a special section of the bar or something for Saturday night. Can't wait to meet everyone and of course see these shows...
My husband and I are flying in from RI....I'm getting sooooooooo excitied! I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! This is going to be crazy fun! If any one finds themselves with any extra tickets, I still need 2 for night 1! See everyone SOON!

That would be cool. I'm flying in Saturday and looking forward to a great long weekend! And of course a couple of Pearl Jam shows!!
i just tried Priceline this morning and I'm not getting anything with a bid of $60. I tried 4-star, 3 1/2 star and 3 star. Should i raise my price?
Which days are you trying? Sat-Tues? Sunday-Tues?
Saturday thru Monday
Your problem is likely the Saturday. My guess is that you'll have to go between $65 and $70 for a 4 star. At this point I would say there probably won't be much difference between a 4 star and 3 star in terms of price, so I would stick to the 4 star and bid $65.

Why are people worrying about an extra $15-$20??
If you have tickets to the show...
If you have paid for airfare/train fare/or you are driving to chicago....
At this point whats an extra $20???
I would just put in whatever price I had to put in, as far as priceline, and just get the room.Right?
Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
If someone can bring a twelve pack of spotted cow and vacum pack of cheese curds from whiskey da kid will pay ya Thanxs all.
I don't think I can fit a 12 pack in my suitcase... and I'll be in Toronto, so I don't think you'll want the cheesecurds after they've been in my bag that long...
But those are two of my favorite things, so I appreciate the sentiment of you asking for them!!
are you driving form Toronto or Chicago or flying?
Driving Toronto to Chicago with the Detroit Crew... then flying home from Chi Town.

I'm staying Saturday till Tuesday...surprised to see a lot of people driving down from Toronto to Chicago! Shoulda planned earlier and set up a car pool....oh well, the gf lives in sarnia so that cuts down the drive by 3hours if I stay there Friday.
Since I've never been to a pre party before, what are they generally like?
And like a poster said above, what are you guys doing about parking (assuming you don't want to pay $48 a night).
