WE ARE TAKING OVER THE HYATT REGENCY!!!

I'm shocked and stoked that so many people have been able to book rooms using the Priceline.com deal...If you want to stay at the Regency as well, we have all had gotten rooms there for $60/night (some have gotten $57). To try to get this deal as well, go to the Name Your Price section under Hotels at Priceline.com...tell them you want Chicago, IL, and the dates you would like to stay. When it asks you which area, choose the one with "Loop" in it, and also select a four star hotel. Bidding $60 has worked for everyone so far, although there are no guarantees.

We have an awesome list of people, and once the dates get closer we can try to figure out some common places to hang out before/after the shows or whatever...

    I will probably be flying in around the same time, so at the very least we could split a cab or something...I'll know more once I finalize my flights...

    where is this place in relation to the venue?

    not sure if i am going to drive or fly, and if i fly i don't want to have to rent a car or spend tons of money on a taxi.

    I just booked the Hyatt Regency for Fri, Sat, Sun nights through Priceline. Thanks for the heads up! ($60/night). I haven't decided who to take yet or whether to drive or fly. If I do drive, I could possibly pick some people up from the airport and also pick up cheaper beer, wine, etc on my drive if we all decide to party in one of the rooms as well.

    Could also possibly pick someone up along the way with a return home (with help for gas)...driving from Idaho. I probably won't know whether I'm driving or flying until closer to the show, need to work out all of the details...

    Can anyone tell me how much is it per night? Is it $60 per night through the hotel itself or is it through priceline.com?
    I looked on the hotel’s website and the rates where pretty high :S unless I’m looking at the wrong Hyatt Regency?

    You bid on Priceline. Go to main page...bid on hotels. Pick chicago. Mine wouldn't take my bid on the Millennium Park, Loop & Grant Park Area, (someone said to put in the loop area) so I added the one above too (both checked). The one aove was "North something" - area just north of the river. It then booked me for the Hyatt Ragency for $60/night. $214 for three nights for me. You have to commit your credit card before you get the rate, but it did finally work for me. At the worst, it will decline your offer and not charge your card.

    Which Hyatt Regency are you getting the $60 rate on priceline? On Wacker Drive or in McCormick Place? I'm gonna need to find a hotel soon and if there is a great deal out there I'm gonna take it.
