urgh.. anything but them!
maybe it's that Paddy-or-what-was-his-name guy that was in Dublin?"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -

The Who!
Seriously though, Sonic Youth would be great, although I will be so anxious to see PJ that the support act won't matter much for me anyway.
On a sidenote, do you guys think we will get to see some nice (maybe extended) Ed presets, perhaps featuring a few songs from ITW? I know it's a lot to ask, but you can't blame a guy for tryingBern - September 13, 2006

well that's odd seeing as how much Pearl Jam fans seemed to love him. :roll:"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -
ooh! Sons of Albion would RULE as the opener!"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0

Buzzcocks would be cool, but I guess Idlewild will support at least one of the UK dates since they have a new album out.Paul

first off U2 is on a major tour so the mention of U2 is absurd. second off the U2 hate has to stop. they are a great band. now go have a cookie and a cream sodaShows:

Kings of Leon is probably not happening, they are playing Vancouver on August 15, LA on August 18{if (work != 0) {
work = work + 1;
sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
else if (work >= 0) {
reality.equals(false);
work = work +1;
}system("pause");
return 0;}0 -
anyone but U2 and KOL... MMJ, The Hold Steady or The Black Keys would rock. Not that I'm going to any shows so I don't really care but I like to see openers that I actually like regardless.I'm just flying around the other side of the world to say I love you
Sha la la la i'm in love with a jersey girl
I love you forever and forever

Given that they're out and about I'd love the Pixies but it ain't gonna happen.
Hold Steady would be good, maybe Bouncing Souls as they're back over for Reading/Leeds. War On Drugs would be ace too.The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0
