The Who! Seriously though, Sonic Youth would be great, although I will be so anxious to see PJ that the support act won't matter much for me anyway.

On a sidenote, do you guys think we will get to see some nice (maybe extended) Ed presets, perhaps featuring a few songs from ITW? I know it's a lot to ask, but you can't blame a guy for trying ;)

well that's odd seeing as how much Pearl Jam fans seemed to love him. ;)

Buzzcocks would be cool, but I guess Idlewild will support at least one of the UK dates since they have a new album out.

That would rock! I haven't seen any Ed presets yet at other shows. I think I'm due one :)

Very doubtful.. Expected this last summer in florida and it didn't happen.. It seems he prefers intimate venues for his solo intimate performances.

first off U2 is on a major tour so the mention of U2 is absurd. second off the U2 hate has to stop. they are a great band. now go have a cookie and a cream soda

    +1

Think they could easily fit The Forest into the set somewhere.

anyone but U2 and KOL... MMJ, The Hold Steady or The Black Keys would rock. Not that I'm going to any shows so I don't really care but I like to see openers that I actually like regardless.

Given that they're out and about I'd love the Pixies but it ain't gonna happen.

Hold Steady would be good, maybe Bouncing Souls as they're back over for Reading/Leeds. War On Drugs would be ace too.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits
