    You weren't at the DC show, were you... Several people were yelling all concert, but there was one guy in particular who was screaming louder than the others and even when Ed was talking. It got to the point (besides Ed stopping and telling everyone it was his time to talk) where people in the crowd were screaming "shut the fuck up" at the dude... it made it even worse since there was a stupid fucker screaming then 2 or 3 more "shut up"s echoing after it...

    No way. For every loud, obnoxious drunk there are several calm, reserved, under the influence fans enjoying the show in their own way. It's just more exaggerated in an intimate setting; why should those respectfully using have to pay for the select few that ruin it?

    Substance use always has been, and always will be a part of live music. It's best to just enjoy what you can and try to ignore the bullshit. Enjoy the fact that you will be able to reflect positively on the experience while the stupid, loud assholes likely will not.

    i think the point of this post was to remind less intelligent people to show some respect for other people and for Eddie Vedder.

    hell this is probably why the 10club started the new ticket policy.....

    after reading the reviews of the last Vedder solo shows....the 10club couldnt wait for the opportunity to let a different group of fans go to these shows....

    some of my favorite comments from the last solo show

    "i called security and tried to get some guy thrown out because he was singing too loud"

    "i waited for an hour AFTER the show so i could ask security why they didnt do their job"

    I hope everyone has a great time at the Ed shows. I do hope one of these upcoming shows will take Milwaukee off the hook as one of the worst crowds. :D LOL


    I think one of the problems is the non 1oc members that go to these shows think they are going to a PJ concert. Some have a few drinks b4 hand then they get to the venue and see what the deal is and yell shit out. Just IMO anyway.

    oh i so hope it's a bit better this year.
    maybe last year there were a lot of random fans coming to the shows. Maybe this year they will know it's a slowish vibe show and stay home. Assuming they were the ones doing the screaming.

    or, they could ban the booze and give everyone something to smoke and i bet everyone would mellow out real quick, lol.
