  • Mike Vick would be a tremendous boost to the Eagles O.

He's just dying to get on the field and explode. I hope they don't unleash him during round 1. We don't have a LB that can catch his little ass.

Seriously. I'm glad this is a Saturday game. Less time to wait. Like ripping off a band aid - win or lose, let's just get this outta the way. Last week's game was the difference between me playing the wait and see game while watching the next game or being an all-out lunatic fan boy.

Win, and it only gets harder, though I don't think New Orleans can stop the run at all - though we actually will have to run the ball. Lose, and I wait a month to see Doc donning a Phils uniform.

yeah i love the short turn around time. i think that favors the birds. i'm not thinking about it until tomorrow though. gotta go in black out mode for a couple days after a loss like that

too bad you don't have a quality college basketball team to root for before spring training starts though. GO NOVA!

Fudge NoFun. I will continue to watch The Joe be pummeled proudly.

I'm curious how you think the short turnaround favors the Eagles? Especially with the travel.

I'm curious about this one too!

I except us to come out on fire,i think a trick play might come into play early. Maybe Vick throws behind the line to Mcnabb who hits Djack on a double move for 6.

it was interesting that reid said he was healthy last week only to keep him in the emergency qb position where he was basically assured of not playing...

It will be interesting to see how much he plays a roll in this game. I wouldn't be suprised if he has a nice chunk of plays since 5 hasn't had much luck against dallas this year.

Exactly. It's a 3 hour chartered flight to Ft. Worth - not a 6 hour one to LA. And this isn't baseball where they just played the other day on the other coast.

is it just me or does jason peters jump offsides about 90% of the time? i meant to post this before but forgot. anyone else notice this? if not, pay attention to the left side of the line on saturday night.

Didn't this kid go to college? At least for a year or two?

"Mike Jenkins ain't never shut me down, so y'all chill out over there," Jackson said. "Them boys are scared of me. I'm a dual threat on that field. They be having like four people on your boy out there, but it's all good. I probably get man coverage like 10 percent every game. But I like those odds. I'll take that."

You know what odds the Cowboys like fuckface? That your team didn't score one point last week!

I thought the same thing for about 6 weeks now, but it just seems like he gets a great jump off the snap. And he has a funky leg kick out when he's in pass protection that makes him look offsides. I remember seeing it the first few times and thinking wtf another offsides, but no flag.

You do understand he's a brotha right? I appreciate your attempt to rip all things Philly, but be serious, this is the vernacular of about 90% of the league. Ha-ha. Happy now? Carry on...

Jeags, somehow Peters made the Pro-Bowl - purely off of name alone. But I don't know what name that is though....

I get it and I agree but the responses from the Cowboys were much more understandable.

I wouldn't like 'em either if he wasn't an Eagle, but I'm sure you'd be saying the same thing if he was a Giant.

We're talking about Philly here - one of the most, if not the most, outwardly racist cities in the country. I think you can assume what most Eagles fans think of him.

Very true. To be honest, I was absolutely shocked at how open many locals are with their opinions on this when I moved here. I had heard stories but I was really suprised. If many hate #5 for that reason I can only imagine what they think of Jackson.

i'm not racist at all...but that quote, awful grammar aside (metsfan has better grammar skills), was absolutely idiotic. was it a stupid "tweet" or something? it had to be right? why would you say anything the week of a playoff game that could rile the other team up?

That's the difference between Philly and Alabama. In Alabama no one threatens others with insults like , "You fuckin honkey", or ,"You fucking spick", or "You fucking 'neighbor." They just lynch you, no questions asked. Here everyone just throws around empty threats, almost as a stress release. It's honestly one of the things that makes me love this city - the honesty, good and bad. I don't know of any other city like this where the neighborhood changes block to block. That may sound dumb to most of you, but I'm sorry, it's one of the obscure reasons I love this city. Keep Philly Weird.

    Um, what?

They are still lynching folks in Alabama? Did Mr. Peabody send the message board through the way back machine?

Dude, a school in Mississippi just had their first inter-racial senior prom two years ago. Think about that.

I think the article I read said he did it on some video interview or something. Not sure why you would say it, especially after getting shut out. I can't wait for him to get rocked someday soon.
