I am so happy about my team's dominating performance and third victory over the Sheagles in a year, that I almost decided to refrain from saying what I'd decided to say before the game. But I'll be sure to post it later, as for right now!!! See you next year
I dont think anyone is crying, just stating concerns that pop up EVERY year. In years past it wasnt such a big deal because we were so much better then the other nfc teams. But when a slightly above average team keeps making these same mistakes fans arent as forgiven. Which is why the past couple of years the reid and mcnabb abuse has gotten worse. Im not gonna cry about the lose but express concern and hope that the front office has seen enough to say thank you for 11 or so great years but its time to move on. Being good is fine for a while but at some point u want greatness. And i dont believe these 2 together can bring greatness here anymore. Theres no doubt that they can give us good seasons, and i know that any team can get hot a win the superbowl. But this group has showed that even when they are great its just not enough. d-Mac and Andy are a very pretty silver medal that just cant reach gold and gold is the goal when u start out the season. Which makes silver a loser just like all the rest. Silver was good years ago but once u are silver only gold will do. Ty andy and d-mac wish u all the best whether its here or else where but imo i want change and im as big as a EAGLES fan as anyone.[/quote]
The offensive line gave donovan no time at all which led to him running for his life all game. Which led to our Def being out on the field forever. We showed once again that we are who we thought we are and thats a good team not a great one. Hanson got beat all night, why in the world samual stops runnin after the wr 30yds down the field to allow that bs PI call on the 1 against sheldon. Did D-Jack even play before halftime??? And once again D-line when did u become trash against the run???? U can't blame this game on Mcnabb although i hope he has played his last game as the Eagles QB. Great QB but the future needs to start sometime and what better time then now. The future does look bright with all the talent we have on offensive Jackson,Maclin,Mccoy, resign Weaver,Celek. Are O line needs to get healthy and tell the Andrews brothers to get lost, talk about stealing money frauds. We really missed Dawkins again S.Bradley will be great to get back. Samual has to be the best worst player i've ever saw in my life. The guy is a good corner but man does he make such stupid decisions. D-Line needs another end pass rusher besides T.Cole and Patterson and Bunkley need to step it up when it counts. Till Next Year Go Birds.......... FUCK DALLAS
Can't say I'm shocked but I'm very disappointed to say the least !
Are weaknesses were exposed BIG TIME
Dallas is the better team for sure
When does next year become this year with this team ?!?!?!
It's officially Hockey Season ! :P

I'd rather not watch sports EVER again in my life then root for the cowboys to win. I hate the Cowboys more then any team or person for that matter period.
well rough way to end it. tons of injuries, youth, bad play calling, and awful execution finally caught up to us. quite a different way to end though. usually it ends with us being favored and just coming up small. this time, we were clearly not the better team. didn't help that we failed to get off the bus for the second week in a row and the officiating was horrendous. either way it wouldn't have mattered. we were not the better team. gotta admit that guys.
i've been saying all year that we are a good team but that next year is the year. give those young bucks another year to mature....get your starting center back....get your pro bowl caliber starting middle linebacker back. draft a defensive end opposite cole who can actually get to the quarterback. find a strongside linebacker, and somehow figure out the safety position and we'll be back.
interesting to see how they handle the mcnabb situation. personally, in a perfect world, i would have mike shanahan coaching the team next year with donny as our qb. but that's not going to happen. so the qb may end up being the scape goat. if he ends up being traded, i might actually be okay with that now because that might be what's best for his career at this point. i would keep him only because you don't know what you have in kolb. and if kolb is not the guy then all this young talent is going to go to waist. i'd extend him another couple years to be honest with you.
***remember, just a year ago the cowboys ended their season with a 44-6 drubbing at the hands of us and they turned things around without blowing it up. we can do the same thing if we make the right moves.
What flies dies! Don't be so rash, I can't see how a philly team with out McNabb would be a smart move. He's one of the most talented players I've ever had the displeasure of watching play many games. And with the young talent yall have, it could be a big waste to chance it on a new guy. I know it must be frustrating, but not as frustrating as it could be with out him. I could see being more frustrated with Andy Reid. He can sure draw up some pass plays, but you have to wonder if someone couldn't do a better job with the team or the offence. There are some major areas of concern, and positions that need to be fixed. Can it be done in one year, possibly. Like Jeagler said: look at what Dallas has done in one year. Mike Jenkins, Keith Brooking, George Sensenbagh have been huge additions. Our secondary has been the weakness for years and years, thats been one of the biggest differences and it happened with the new additions and a lack of injury in the secondary.
Edit: I posted how I feel about Eagle's fans and what your fan base deserves. But you know what? I'm a Cowboys fan. I'm not going to kick you while you're down, thats something a classless Eagles fan would do. I'll just raise a toast with you: Here's to many more sweeps of the Eagles by America's team!!!
interesting to see how they handle the mcnabb situation. i would keep him only because you don't know what you have in kolb. and if kolb is not the guy then all this young talent is going to go to waist. i'd extend him another couple years to be honest with you.
I hope you keep McChoke next year! I would welcome that with open arms

we said the same thing about romo and phillips after beating you 44-6 last year

But McNabb is clearly on the decline. OL problems or not, that was an abysmal performance. Wouldn't you rather take your chances with Kolb? You don't even know what you have in him? Why waste another year with McNabb?

he is? other than the last two games, this was mcnabb's best year since 2004. i know its difficult to realize that now but it was. and i think he's still a top 10 qb. with kolb, you don't know. you just don't know. so i think the odds of us having more success with a known quantity is better than with an unknown quantity...especially with all the talent we have on the offense.
As a Cowboy fan, McNabb no longer scares me. He used to. And last year he did somewhat, especially in that last game. But he had his worst games against Dallas this year (and Oakland) and he is only getting older next year, which will be what, year 12 of the Reid/McNabb era?
If I was an Eagles fan, I would want a change at coach and QB and I would want it now.

well i want a change at coach but they just gave him an extension.
and mcnabb wouldn't scare me either if you are judging him by those 3 games. the other 11 he played in were quite a different story. he's got a solid 2-3 years left in the tank.

Jeagler what u have to relieve is that the TO year was amazing B-west was a beast we had productive players on the O then. He choked then and he chokes now, don't get me wrong like i've written 50 times in this thread 5 is great, a hall of famer imo but change is needed. And since Reid signed a new contract that leaves 5 as the one who has to go. He did have a good year this season but I LIKED what i saw from Kolb he is a free agent of some sort i believe now as well. Theres no way he's gonna stay here as a backup to 5 which leads them to having to make a real tough decision. Keep 5 who is old and declining or lock up the qb u drafted to replace him to me it's a tough decision that has to be made.
