Need some help if possible friends! Our new cats (strays that were fostered for a year prior to our adoption in October) have been coming around. They sleep on furniture now, and Poe jumped on my lap while gaming! But we have yet to touch his sister Freya. It can take a while. It sounds like they are making progress. So, just keep doing what you are doing.

You might want to try Feliway also. You can buy plug-ins. They are supposed to be calming to cats.

I forgot about Feliway. We tried that on our last cat and it didn't seem to do anything, but I would be up for trying again.

Pets love is a gift.
My older 3 children have just had to take their dog of 12 years and put him down. It's devastated them.

I believe so, but this is my first experience with such cases (had to look up TnR) and the story we got was confusing. Basically he and his sister (who we also adopted) had a feral mother that got into a basement to birth her kittens, then [scene missing], then they were in a shelter, then foster. They are super sweet but also skittish, luckily I’m patient.

She does! We finally got to pet her this last week after four months of adoption. He came around first a couple months ago. We’re lucky to have them, for sure.
