We are going to put him to sleep this afternoon. Cancer all over him and in his lymph nodes.

Might be the best cat I ever had. My daughter added the cape to this picture years ago. Our other two cats would always jump up on top of those cabinets above the microwave and he busted his ass to get up there. He was a big cat...maybe a little overweight but mainly just big.

Sorry to hear that. The worst thing we have to endure as pet owners.

What a great photo. I am so sorry to hear the news. It is never easy. I just went through it last August with Daisy. Just keep in mind that you are doing the right thing. You don't want him to suffer.

thanks...yeah unfortunately I'm a pro at this but like you said, never easy

first cat I had that would "sploot"....we would always joke that a storm was coming from whatever direction he was facing when he'd do that. Like he was warning us or something.

thanks...I was kind of hoping my two daughters wouldn't go with me to euthanize but it's good that they did. I had been telling them that it was peaceful, etc., but you know cats. As soon as you try to hold them down they struggle and growl. He went out fighting!

Really hard because he was honestly one of the best cats I have ever had. He was 13 (we think) and had a pretty cushy life.
