    I love seeing all your cats!  I don’t post often but get excited every time I see this thread updated. Please keep ‘em coming!

    We had to say goodbye to our last cat Maggie in September. We brought her in as an energetic elderly lady, wanted to give her a home for her golden years, and sadly we came to find out she had aggressive cancer. A couple months ago we adopted a pair of siblings, who hid in the basement for a couple weeks. We’ve named them recently: Poe and Freya. Their mother was a stray, they spent a year in cages then a year is foster, where they sat alone in a room for another year (the foster mom separated them from all her other animals). They are slowly coming around - I got to pet Poe for the first time Wednesday! - but I don’t expect them to be carefree lap cats for some time. They’re definitely loved though.

    What's funny is that he is the sweetest cat in the world. He would probably come right up and start licking you. He just has that male supermodel stare.

    I am sorry about Maggie. I lost my cat Daisy in August. That is great that you adopted that pair of cuties. I’m glad they are coming around. All it takes is some love and attention. Keep us posted.
