I put on one of those videos for cats to watch on YouTube. Tristan was very entertained, as was I watching him watch the video.

Flea loves those videos. George is indifferent. Surprise.

DK, I knew that was Groucho before I even saw you posted it.

I think we're going to get a new kitty soon.  It's been boring around here since we lost (put down) Rosie back in Nov.

I am sorry about Rosie. That is tough. You always know when it time to welcome another sweet kitty into your life. And yes, post photos and updates.

Like GlowGirl said you'll know when it's time. When Kali passed away in Oct. I knew I was gonna get another one (wasn't sure exactly when, but I knew i was def. getting another one) and i did almost a month ago since i've had Kyra.

She's a real sweetheart. And in the past few nights she's slept with me in my bed

    Hey that looks like…

yup… proly shouldn’t have left the extra j from the Tool concert out on the counter for the last couple of nights… Little miss pothead had herself a night.

The complete absence of guilt or remorse is impressive… if anything, it’s complete defiance… we both know where she found it.

I'm surprised my wife hasn't texted me yet asking why I was vacuuming at 5:55 this morning.

I heard a little commotion and looked up to see this. The bag was empty but he literally got his head stuck in it. I had to remove it for him. I felt bad for laughing at him. I think he was freaking out for a minute. But it was funny.

This thread has been kind of quiet.  Here's an old one of my Juniper McCready ... snoozing on a pillow on the sofa.

Nip’ll do it every time! All I have to do is ask if he wants some and he comes scampering over. The word is ingrained into his little vocabulary! Flea just follows George :)

We adopted a kitten a couple weeks ago.  It wasn't long after, when we had to put Rosie down, we realized "it's really quiet in here".
    I haven't had a kitten in a long time.
Run, jump, run, get into everything, run, jump, run...

    It's exhausting!
    He's a cute little guy, but man...it's non-stop!

Yes congrats! my cat is like 5-6 years old and she runs around a lot, especially in the morning.

After the loss of our cat, Leia, a few weeks ago, we took Juliet in. She was in need of being rehomed as it was obvious to my friend that J was in need of being the only critter in the house. She was having a territorial dispute with a few of her cats and she did not have a lot of interest in sharing the litter box.

She has had none of those problems here.

She is lovely. She is a beautiful, "full bodied girl" (as described to us by my friend) who loves to play and thinks the auto feeder is the best thing ever. We just love her.

I am sorry to hear about Leia. That must have been rough. But welcome Juliet. You are both very lucky to have found each other.
