so if he does go over 5-10 minutes big deal. i REALLY doubt abc would join lost in progress, then they'd have a bunch of unhappy campers to answer to!

I've noticed that the Prez seems to keep those press conferences pretty strictly to one hour so I don't think it's going to run over and like spat said, ABC would know they'd have very unhappy people on their hands. Maybe Obama is a Lostie too! ;)

i was thinking about that! how awesome would this be:
My fellow Americans, thank you for joining me this evening. We are in the middle of a terrible tragedy, but it is not something we can ignore. There are only 3 more weeks of LOST this season. I have heard your cries for help and I understand your pain. I share that same pain. But we can take heart that Damon Lindelof, Jack Bender, and the rest of the brilliant men and women who have created this show will have 18 weeks of new programming next season as they wrap up the storyline to one of America's most beloved treasures.

So, because of that, I would like to spend the next 45 minutes talking to you about my theories surrounding the passengers of Flight 815, The Others, and The Island. Let's begin...

Yeah, I was thinking that Daniel would turn out to be Eloise and Widmore's son. But how were you wrong about Faraday and Charlotte?

I think Vincent is with Rose and Bernard, wherever they are. :?

I think I read on here somewhere a theory that Rose and Bernard are the skeletons in the caves.

The time travel got poor Vinny all F'ed up. Cause remember 1 people year = 7 dog years, so Vin ended up stuck in the dark ages somewhere, and he's been forced to shack up with a cat to survive, really had to compromise his doggy values there, but he had no choice.

After the last couple of episodes I thought Charlotte was Daniel's son. Some people had brought it up earlier but I thought no. Then as this season went on I thought yes. But after last night I thought no again. The reason being Daniel went back in time to when Charlotte was a little girl. He would have been a little boy then too. I think that was clarified last night that he did not belong in 1977 as an adult. So I changed my mind again. After last night I decided that maybe before they got on the boat Daniel and Charlotte had an affair or something. Agree? Disagree?

Its kind of unfortunate that a moment like Widmore saying "he's my son too" which should have made us go "Holy Shiznit!!" only now makes us go "thats what I figured".

I liked how they just kind of slipped that in there too.

I still said "Holy Shiznit." Because I wasn't convinced - only a suspicion that it could be possible. And on this show pretty much anything is possible.

Did you actually say "Holy shiznit" while sitting on your couch?
    Cause that would be cool.

I like how it seems they keep going from "you can't change to the past" to "you can change the past" and back again. I think there is no way Kate would change it so she would end up in jail if they never crashed on the Island.

That's what my husband said right away. Kate needed that crash.

this was one of the few episodes they've done that answers/confirms questions, raises new questions, has a fair amount of action, but also does a great job of setting the table for what's to come...

man, i hope the people i'm staying with down in Austin like LOST, lol

...and Sawyer and Juliet probably don't want to change the recent past either.

Pretty damn good episode last night.

Is it me or does Matthew Fox just seem completely not interested in playing Jack this season?

very good episode. Season 5 has been a homerun. Almost every episode has been spot on.

I wanted so bad for Faraday to put the gun down and try to reason with Richard Alpert. He had a better chance for survival in that case and I thought it was weak they had him flashing the gun around like that and turning his back on everyone else.

unless he figured out that was supposed to happen and he helped carry it through (like he said he was pushing Candle/Cheng to do).... His talk with Jack about them being able to die was rather ominous too, as if he knew he would die.

    very strong though.
