We don't have a secondary. They need the bye week to come already.

  • 3rd and goal, up 3 and you run the ball ??? Come on, a TD ends that game then and there. Incomplete pass means nothing there, time was not a factor. Take a freakin shot into the end zone. Once they kicked the FG to go up 20-14, I said we lose 21-20. Boy, do we need this bye week

yea and those penalties. especially the last one on the 4th yard line hurt.

  • To me the first drive of the game set the tone.
Great drive then 3rd & 1 and you give the ball to bradshaw & dont get it?!?!?!? Jacobs -- 6 ft 4 -- 270lbs, biggest rb in the game and you give it to bradshaw? Then opt for the fg for the 500th time. We all know what happened there. Those points were the game.

This team is in trouble. Osi just aint the same yet, the secondary is depleted, and this doesnt get mentioned much but.....the LB's are the worst i've seen in years. Maybe ever. Pierce is a great leader but the dude get killed. Especially in pass coverage. He has not stepped up & made plays

  • 4 losses now in a row, this is very disheartening... I don't see the losses ending any time soon unless they learn how to protect the big pass plays from happening, and with their personnel, it just doesn't look too good.

Well, the NYG have dropped 4 straight. I'm thinking 9-7 for them this year. I thought they were the most overrated undefeated team ever since the Dallas game. A secondary like NYGs is hard to compensate for.

I was at the game on Sunday and you've never seen such a reversal of energy between the 2 minute mark and then w/ 30 seconds to go. Ugh.

Also: San Diego fans are the WORST fans I have ever seen. Sorry if you are a SD fan and this insults you, but every single SD fan I saw, with the exception of the guy sitting next to me who was there w/ his family, were completely and utterly classless.

Totally agree with this on the LB's. I think Boley is good, but he is coming off the injury. Pierce has lost a step (or 2), and Clark is terrible. And the safety sitaution is awful. We all know Brown is the worst player in football and I think Phillips helped overcome Michael Johnson, who is a nice player, but nothing great back there.

They really miss Spags. Sheridan doesnt have the same connection with these guys.

sort of like the birds, the giants have been known to go through some prolonged early or mid season slumps only to get hot at the end of the year. i am not counting this stupid team out yet.

I forget we have 6' 6" Ramses Barden. When will they give him a shot?

I've been wondering the same thing. I dont even think he has been on the active game day roster yet. I kept hearing his name over and over again during training camp and how great he was??? I believe he's #13.
I blame Gilbride!! Never liked him as OC...way too boring and basic.

  • This is apparently this first game where the entire D is healthy and playing (except Phillips obviously). Big statement game for the rest of the year.

Anyone else find it funny that we now have Aaron Ross and Aaron Rouse as starters in our secorndary?

Pierce out indefinitely with a bulging disk in his neck.

  • Not sure how i feel about pierce. obviously sucks,.....but i think someone else deserves a shot at lb. they have been absolutely horrible. pierce "coaching" from the sidelines might be a good thing?

Good for Eli for throwing for over 300 yds at home for the first time in regulation.

I hope the short rest and the long flight doesn't keep them from winning on Thursday.
