in fairness, cliff lee did go 8 innings...so you basically just used your normal 7, 8 and 9th pithcers....no biggie.

    they are fucking pathetic

I don't understand why the fuck diekman is on the extreme left side of the rubber while facing RHBs

This team pisses me off. No intesity and stupdity running rampant throughout the organization. Let's give a fucking closer (who is known to struggle pitching 3 consecutive days or more than 1 inning at a time), the largest contract EVER for a RP. Even as the best pitcher to ever come through their system, who has already carried them to one WS title, is approaching free agency while still in his prime. Brilliant...fucking brilliant.

Watch the game on Saturday. I'll be the guy sitting on the LF foul line wearing a paper bag on my head which reads 'FIRE AMARO'

Mayberry should have caught the HR too. Uncoordinated 7 foot turd

    OK, I'm done

Actually Gose was traded to Houston in then flipped to the Jays. Travis D'Arnaud is a big time prospect that went as well.

Ahh, gotcha yeah, AA has ended up with a bunch of your prospects it sounds like.
Yeah,Travis D'Arnaud was one of the players i read the Phillies should target if we traded Hamels.

Well, he's been out with a knee injury so I'm sure amaro will target him. His rep is that he's going to have trouble staying healthy.

The trade that's going to haunt this team is pence. Singleton is gonna be a monster.

Don't think I mentioned this but I think it's asinine they didn't sign their 2nd rounder; agree with Fixer on that one.

all over a 180K difference. seriously

they fucked up their draft budget. If they matched rash's demands for the additional 180K then they would have surrendered their first round pick next year (because it would have put them over the draft cap in the new cba).

so annoying. ineptitude at its finest

I'm back in the writing game which means I need distractions....who do you want less when your whole teams midseason dreams depend on it Paps or K-Rod? At least Ricky Weeks is over the Mendooooooooza line for once in his god damn life.

hamels will sign and lee gets traded to texas, probably in the same day. write it down

and 6 years is too many years for a pitcher

I'd be fine with that. And 6yrs isn't too many at all for Hamels.

And 6yrs isn't too many at all for Hamels.

It is (for any pitcher, or player for that matter), but it's better than watching him pitch for the Yankees or Dodgers. The open market will deliver him at least a 6 year deal, so that's what we're looking at.

Why's everybody trading Lee? Are we writing off 2013 already, even though we're trying to extend Hamels? Doesn't make sense to me.
