Does anyone here by any chance of any connections in the military for military honors at a funeral? Let me just say, dealing with anything government-related is a fucking shit show. Trying to get military honors at my grandfather's funeral and we need his discharge papers, which he misplaced, and I've been trying to fax the request for a new one and am getting no where fast.

One would think with a dumb screename like Cliffy.

Sorry to hear man. Hope your family is doing alright. I send my thoughts.

I wish I could just be a cheerleader like some others here and always think everything is great.

it's just that other than chase utley and roy halladay you NEVER say anything positive about anything or anyone on the phils. a blowout win last night and you have to bring up a meaningless error late in the game by ryan howard. it just seems like you sit around and wait for bad things to happen so you can pounce. i admittedly am not a huge fan of chase utley's defense but i at least acknowledge when he does something well defensively like the play he made to end sunday's game. a positive comment once in a while wouldn't kill ya. 8-1 now but i'll come back on when ryan strikes out next time up so i can hear you complain.

call your local representative's office. they should be able to help and should get answers quicker than you can on your own.

I don't think ryan howard is good. If that makes me negative then so be it.

The rest of your post is complete nonsense as always. I've been on hamels nuts since 08, even when the rest of the idiot fans tried to run him out of town.

seriously dude, you should just stop posting in this thread altogether. no one pays attention to the dumb shit you constantly post here because it's either 100% incorrect or makes no sense whatsoever.

What's realistic is that we have the best record in the game, with a mediocre offense thus far. What's also realistic is that a healthy full lineup is pounding the shit out of the ball right now. As well as Howard heating up 7-21 with 9 walks in his last 7 games.

Not sure who's a cheerleader on here? I know i'm a fan of a certain player that u might not be. So if that makes me a cheerleader so be it.

you say ryan howard is no good and i'm supposedly the one who posts dumb shit    of course you think we are better off with ross gload at 1st base so.....

also let me point out that we are now 16 days past memorial day and the Braves still aren't in 1st place which you basically said was a lock - but then you chickened out when i called on you to bet on it

and i'm stil waiting for the 6 forwards on each team in the NHL better than Jeff Carter.

and feel free to show me anything i've posted that is 100% incorrect. that's 100% incorrect, not 10,20,50 or 75%. i'll wait.....

nice...could not have asked for a better start to a double header.

kendrick goes 7 strong. and we only need the 2 scrubs to finish them off.

ha sure anything you say lord and master. you're just upset because the Phils won game 1 so now you have nothing complain about.

don't you have a bunch of blogs to read to tell you how the team with the best record in baseball sucks?

Fun night ahead with this game and Game 7 going on. 8-)

I'm ashamed I got caught in the middle of one of these stupid arguments.

When the Marlins were playing well in April & May, I thought they were gonna have a shitty stretch that screws them, and sure enough, here it is. They don't seem like they're into it at all. Kind of like the Phillies before 2007, when they always made it too difficult for themselves by having horrible stretches and falling too far back.

Haha. They at least never fell under .500. I think 7 back was the low-water mark; of course it was rather late in July. That was a hell of a finish.

the Phils never went on a 1-14 stretch like the marlins are for june. i bet it's been a long long time since any phils team has done that.

of course not. but they had an 8-17 stretch around this time last year. they were like 7 games behind the braves deep into the summer before they turned on the after burners...

phils usually do that in inter-league play.
and this marlins team is now only 1 game out of last place which is hard to believe. the mets have been playing some good ball lately. reyes has been on fire.
