    I said it before and I HOPE IM WRONG but Utley's done imo at least for this year. And yes Howard has looked like shit lately and needs to step it up. For whatever reason we can't beat these guys,i don't get it. With Doc on the hill hopefully we get outta there with 1.

    I hear you, give him some time though. Dudes 10 or so games into his season. Gotta at least give him 150 at bats or so before you start worrying.

    agree cliff. gotta let utley get back into the groove.

    people have such a football mentality when it comes to the phils. one bad stretch of games and people are ready to jump off the walt whitman again. :roll: :lol:

    we got almost 2 months to judge this regular lineup before the deadline. let's give it a little more than 2 games, eh?

    My comments were made before he came back originally. I just think he beat himself up too much,hence why we love him so much. I'm probably wrong and hope i am,but i just think he's abused his body to much to fast.

    kinda funny watching bat these days. so many weak pop ups the other way. and he just drops his head toward the ground before he starts running as if to say "what the FUCK am i doing?!" :lol:

    wow that pitching display by the Pirates today was pretty darn bad. couldn't throw strikes at all. take the win and come back home boys.

    Utley's diving catch was a phenominal play. i give him and you guys grief about his defense at times but that was an awesome play in a big spot.

    dom brown is just about there. he has looked so much more comfortable and is smoking the ball at times. hopefully he keeps it up and becomes a big answer to some of our problems. seems like he is real close to being a huge extra base and long ball threat for us.

    Sweet discovery,i'll be in ocean city md in early july for a week. Me,my wife her mother and grandfather usually go to a delmarva shorebird game when were down there. This year they play Lakewood,sweet timing July 3rd dugout seats here we come. They also have a Jayson Werth picture up in the stadium since he played there back in the day.

    well after a 4-5 trip, phils actually increased their lead in the east. and still best record in baseball. ;)
