    MLB TV question.

    I'm sure the answer is "you're fucked", but...

    Long time DirecTv subscriber, so no Comcast Philly. Extra Innings I'm sure will "block out" all Phils games since I'm in the Phils home team market (Harrisburg). Is there a way to get around this thru MLBTV?

    I used to go out and catch a couple games a week, but now the kids are getting older.

    I will not pay Comcast, so that's not an answer.

    MLB blackout rules suck, I'm not sure how they black out something I'd pay for. To me MLBTV / Extra Innings are like pay-per-view. Let me watch and dish out my $ to those that needed it.

    Yeah, if you're in Philly's market you're not getting that stuff - maybe you could get the opposing team's feed. You do know that paying for mlb.tv + DirectTV will probably come to the same as just getting FiOS? Get Verizon if you don't want Comcast.

    For mlb.tv there is a way to mask your IP address to make it look like you are not in the local market. I am not sure how to do it but know people that have. I'll ask.

    I don't understand why they use major league teams because some kids don't want to be Mets, Barves, Yankees or yes, even Phillies. Before I moved, my son was in a league and they had most of the minor league teams available and you had your choice of teams. Of course, I chose the Durham Bulls.

    I can do ya one better. My mom once bought me a CREED t-shirt because she "heard they sounded like Pearl Jam" and figured I'd liked them because of that. I used it as a rag when I dusted my room.

    yeah i think i was the mets one year. for some reason our shirts were maroon.

    my last year in little league i was on the phillies and our coach went out and bought these authentic looking jerseys for us. powder blue roadies with the old school "P" and everything. authentic looking hat instead of mesh. numbers were stiched. all the other teams just had shirts. we looked fucking bad ass. :mrgreen:

    my dad made a video yearbook for that team with slow motion highlights and our coach doing the voiceover with all of our stats and stuff.....no mention of war though :lol:
