He's at least playing solid defense. Uh oh...

contrary to what some here believe, he's always been solid in the field.

he really has morphed into feliz...not good times.

I know he's always been solid in the field. Just don't want to jinx anyone.

for a team that's had such a shitty history and only won 2 WS, this is much better than I would have guessed

I like the saying that the odd numbered games in a series are the most important. I think most of the time that is true.

2007-11 Phillies are 27-17, so this group has more than half of the franchise's playoff wins. (the 3 round format has something to do with that, of course)

Odd numbered games, huh? Well if it's Game 7 then I could see it being the most important. Otherwise i think they are all equally important.

more brilliant managing running when you have a pitcher on the ropes and a guy at the plate that struck out 400 times this year.
  • Did Mculley Culken drop marbles in center field what was that???

it' looked like victorino borrowed dom browns roller skates.

oswalt looks hittable early. that heater is straight arrow like. kind of like jackson's. hopefully he can throw his deuce for strikes or it could be a short night for him. get more runs fellas

Haha good one. I don't think I can mentally handle a game 5, we need to take them out now in front of their nearly sold out crowd.

yeah, a game 5 would suck. they should light up jackson like an xmas tree. oswalt settled in nicely there...he's def at his best when he's mixing in his junk. he doesn't have the ability to finish hitters off with just his heater anymore.

nearly sold out crowd is great  . If the cards don't win I can't wait to hear pujols' excuse(s) afterwards

flashbacks from game 6 of the NLCS. phils got two quickies off of sanchez, blew early opportunities to get more, then didn't score the rest of the game.

    let's fucking go

anyone know what's up with these necklaces that everyone seems to have on? I know utley and howard usually don't wear them. seems to be working for utley, but howard needs to get rid of his
  • I think Larusa put that squirrel on the field again. Please don't mention game 6, god what a terrible night. We can get this win fixer, we have the best team in the league. I agree, let's fucking go!

    cardinal rule..never make the 1st or 3rd out at 3rd base ?

Like being aggressive but you gotta make sure you make it

yeah, I don't know WTF that was. I learned when I was 10 that you never make the 1st or 3rd out at third base.

on the flip side, wheels head probably exploded on that play...so we have that going for us

let's go howard. fucking do something. ugh, I didn't mean swing at ball 4 on a 3-0 count

It was also a good play by Pujols. Most 1st basemen wouldn't have the awareness to come off the bag like that and fire to 3rd.

yeah, you're right. still dumb by utley. furcal looked like he lobbed the throw over and utley was still out by 10 feet.

also, ryan howard needs to get a clue. he goes up there with no plan whatsoever. he just flails and hopes he makes contact. I really hate watching his at bats

Haha one of the upsides of the postseason, no tmac or "the wind determines the outcome of every hit" wheels. Did you guys hear harrys son sing god bless america? Let's get that young man in the broadcast booth.

Can we get a fucking run!!!???
