We got there at the end of the 1st qtr yesterday at is was 3-0 Colgate. From what I saw after that I have no idea how they scored 3 points or held the Tigers to 0, because Towson just crushed 'em from there on out. On top of Bushrod and Vitt, Sean Landetta's probably out kicking in his Tiger gear for old times sake, and, given his son's team's suckage, Dave Meggett's days in jail are being made shorter by his alma maters on-field efforts.

yeah, landetta and meggett are the obvious ones. with gary neal and casper wells, we're now represented in 3 of the 4 major sports

you really shouldn't be proud of gary neal. ask la salle fans if you are not sure why i say that.

please. these days every college has an athlete accused of rape.

nice to see the hillbilly get the lineup right yesterday. that should be what it looks like in playoffs.

bastardo rocked again. the starters better be ready to throw 9 innings every night because this bullpen sucks ass (yours truly predicted that bastardo and stutes' workloads would be cause for concern)

so phils last game is wednesday, but first playoff game isn't til saturday. would you play the starters on wednesday?

I'd probably let them start, get them two ABs each, then empty the bench.

    Sounds about right.

I'm torn between wanting to knock the Braves out of the playoffs and not wanting to play the Cardinals.

I don't know why people are scared of the cards. I want to beat larussa's ass...and want the braves out

I think I read that that Hamels won't start and will do some relief, or won't go that many innings - something like that, reason being is they would only like to put him in a position where he would get credited with another win.

And I've been thinking about it more now.....Fuck the Cards. Gimme any team. Only thing is I think our lefties could make St. Louis' shitty lefty relievers look good. Other than that, I can't wait for Saturday.

I love the twilght games. get a few beers before the game, drink during the game, then go out after the game. between 3-5 is ideal IMO

Naw. I want a 4pm start. Perfect time. I can get back from a wedding down the shore without being rushed, come right up, set up the tailgate, drink myself into a frenzy, go to game and lose my voice, and then proceed with the post-game celebration(hopefully....better be) somewhere in the city for a night on the town. This would be perfect.

LDS goes Sat, Sun, Tues, Wed, Fri, I believe.

Anybody stayed at, or been to, this Chelsea Hotel in AC? Staying there Friday night and I can't wait to be underwhelmed......

as long as its not a 1 or 2pm start i'm happy.

with a 1pm eagles game the next day, that will leave no time for the juggler to tend to his chores.

on a side note, i don't know how my liver's gonna make it to age 40. i'm getting too old for these fucking birds tailgates.

at least pearl jam and springsteen aren't in town this october. 2009 was the roughest. I was unemployed at the time. At one point I think I drank something like 12 out of 14 nights that year. It was awesome...thought for sure my wife was going to leave me

If they weren't such jerks the franchise record would've been easily taken. Ah well. And not like it's saying much. Team's been around since 1883 and no team before the 70's won 97 games. That's ridiculous.
